Location and low price, these are the only two things going for this hotel. I didn't have hot water in my moldy old bathroom for 2 days in a row. I stayed there in Dec 2010, half of the staff was nice and the other half not so cool. This one nice old man who worked there let me take... More

We were only in Rome for a couple of nights and we just accepted that we had made a mistake. The room was very small and dark, but the bathroom was clean and we were close to the Vatican which was what we were there for. It was actually a pretty good location. Thats the best thing I can say... More

when you look at the site of this hotel in the internet you think this is a nice hotel but when you get there you are shocked!! it is definitely different from what you saw at the web, the room is small and narrow, the bathroom is very small and the bath is very very small (it is a half... More

Apart from the fact that the sheets and the bathroom were clean there is very little to recommend this hotel. The photos on their official site are TOTALLY misleading - our room was room 514 - it was minute dark with little or no natural light - the carpet was heavily soiled on all the vislible areas - the air-conditioning... I would not recommend staying in this hotel purely for the fact that their professional photos look NOTHING like the reality. After looking at the website and seeing the photos I booked two nights here for my stay in Rome, and was really disappointed. It was just so basic, which is fine if the price reflected that and the hotel... More

If you're looking for a hotel that's close to all the main sites, then this is the one. The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colluseum and The Vatican all within easy walking distance (5-15 mins). The hotel room itself was really poor. We were on the 4th floor and our room was tiny (more like a cupboard) with no window... More

I find it difficult to find the words to describe this place. It it both the worst hotel I have ever set my foot in and also possibly a health hazard. It is so incredible filthy you cannot even imagine. The "air-condition" is a non-working fan. The help is so unhelpful and rude, you won't get any help. The location... More

I stayed at Piazza Venezia with a friend for 3 nights following 4 nights in the mountains for a friends wedding. I would agree with all of the reviews that say this hotel is in a great location. It is, you couldn't be more central. However......I wouldn't recommend this as a place to stay. There is nothing special about it.... More

The rooms are quite small, the bathrooms are even smaller. Shower is a joke. I asked for a change of room given the pity bathroom in the first one and got a (slightly) bigger one with no curtain in the shower Everything quite old or rusty A/C works automatically, even at night, so you can not change it whatever you... I stayed here in May and as I sit here and read these reviews, I wish I had done more homework. Yes, the rooms and bathrooms are small, but that would not have concerned me. It was the incredible rudeness of the desk staff that was so disconcerting. This was confirmed by another guest, so it was a relief that... More
