We stayed in Meltin Rome during out short trip to Rome during October 2011. We finalized this after lots of research about B&Bs in Rome in Tripadvisor and other portals. This place is walkable from Roma Termini and still manages to distance itself from the hustle bustle of busy market near to the Termini. It is located in a quite... More

Meltin Rome is very small B&B with just a few rooms, it's an apartment with kitchen and hallway and that's it. It's very peaceful, room was clean and warm, heating was working well. location very close to Termini which is a plus. Breakfast was hostel style, just the basics. We have seen staff only on arrival.

This B&B's good points: A very good price - especially for Rome Very good location if you want to be near Termini Station Excellent Wi-Fi The location is 1-1/2 blocks from Termini station. We were met by a young man who is managing the place. He was very friendly and helpful. However, he does not live in the neighborhood so... More

There were several very good things about the hotel: - First of all the price 63 euro per night in Rome is obviously a good deal - Location is perfect, 5 min walk from the central railway station - Design and size of the room. Speaking honestly I didn’t expect to have any design for such a price so it... More

Thisis a great location in Rome, just a couple of streets back from the train station and Bus station. We had two rooms on the first floor, both very clean and tidy, not a great view in one room, but that didn't matter. I know people have posted pictures on this hotel of views of the bins, but to be... More

We found that this B&B has a few positives like location (near central station), strong wifi and large room but it seemed a bit neglected and could be improved very easily. Our main issue was the shower, we are both slim but even for us the small size was hard to handle. Aside from size, 75% of the water squirted... More

Rudolfo was extremely helpful. The only thing is that you see him the day you check in and that's it and there is no one around to ask any questions to. The rooms are a decent size but the shower is small. The rooms look nicer in the pictures then you do in person. With the price you pay, what... More

My wife and I stayed here while in Rome. The location was great. 5 minutes from the train station and both metro lines. You could pretty well get anywhere in the city here quickly. The B&B is in on the 3rd floor of an apartment/condo complex. The building is very easy to miss from the street because there is no... More

Rudolfo was a wonderful host. He took the time to give a great map with things not to miss during our time in Rome and also gave us great restaurant and gelato recommendations. The room was great. We were in the Haiku room and loved it. Items were set out for breakfast and it was great having our own kitchen!... More

It took some time to find the place especially when it's quite dark. It's located at a pretty secluded back alley at one corner. This was the only place that I booked throughout the trip that did not have an attached bathroom and it was pretty inconvenient especially in the wee hours of the morning. In fact, I tripped twice...
