This is a boutique hotel with a prime location. What impressed me the most about this hotel is the attention that the staff give to you -the best I have received -everything from dinner reservations to tickets to the attractions. The view at breakfast and dinner is of course the premium you are also paying for. There is no gym... More

Beautiful Hotel, excellent location, staff really helpful highly recommended. Roof top restaurant aroma really good food worth eating there once, not too sure about 10 euros a coffee though? Room cleaned every day, chocolates and local information put on our bed every evening. Thanks for a really memorable stay, will recommend to family and friends. Rome is a great place... More

Saturday the 20th of September I arrived at the Hotel around 1:30 PM and once I showed the receptionist my prepaid hotel reservation receipt that I made via despegar.com, he then informed me that my reservation was for an apartment/room at a building 5 minutes from the hotel. I informed him that there must be a mistake as I had... More

I have stayed in numerous luxury hotels around the world but had never faced such an awkwardly amusing incident like in this hotel. The experience is rather embarrassing to share because of its ridicule: when coming back to my room after an exhausting although culturally enriching day of the city sightseeing, I eventually relaxed and mentally prepared to indulge myself... Certainly this will now be at the top of my "go to" list of favorite hotels to stay in! Like a well oiled machine with extra special touches. As previously mentioned in other reviews it is situated on the outskirts of the main tourist area in Rome, An easy 5-10 min walk from the center and all the sights. It... More

This hotel is a small friendly boutique hotel overlooking the colosseum and well placed for visiting Ancient Rome. This was a last minute extra short break so we went for the cheaper room which did not have a view of the colosseum but looked out over the park opposite and was fine size wise . Certainly better than you would... More

Pure perfection! We stayed in a family suite with our 10 year old twins. The suite was recently renovated, it was two beautiful rooms connected by a small hallway with the most amazing view of the Colosseum & Gladiator training area. My daughter was fascinated by the mirror in our room that was a tv. I was amazed by the... More

Stayed there for a night as we got off the plane late in Rome and had to go to Tuscany the next morning. Aside from it's location and stunning views from Aroma restaurant. I am most impressed with the service - very seasoned with a personal touch. Decor is tasteful. The prestige room is in my opinion is on the... More

I recently spent a long weekend in Rome and stayed 3 nights at the Palazzo Manfredi. Upon arrival I was quickly whisked upstairs for a welcome drink of chilled Prosecco on the terrace which overlooks the Coliseum. I was upgraded to a room with a view of the Coliseum which was very well furnished - not the biggest room, but... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
