This B&B is part of an Italian Palazzo (not the exact meaning of the word palace as in English) with only three rooms. The lady in charge, Michelle, is delightful. The rooms smell lovely and very clean. Toileteries are also given. Location is very close to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the Vatican (all reached on foot). I had an... More

once you have booked you get a personalized mail from the hosts with the most important information - a great start. The location is perfect; we walked to Piazza Navona, Pantheon,Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Vatican, Trastevere and shopping streets. The bus stop is max 2 minutes away. The streets around the hotel are safe and pictoresque, with little restaurants, bars... More

We spent our first 3 nights here. Charming B&B with an excellent location (walking distance to the pantheon, piazza navona, vatican city and campo di'fiori). The rooms are tastefully furnished, quiet and the service was excellent. Great breakfast too. We will definitely book a room there again if we head back to rome.

This charming small B&B is in a excellent location, just steps from Piazza Navona, Castel Sant'Angelo and the Tiber and the Via Giulia, in the center of Renaissance and Baroque papal Rome. There is full independence High courtesy The rooms relatively small but elegant and comfortable, great bed, good breakfast and, if desired, plenty. Discreet service and excellent.

We stayed here for the first time in 2013, and by throwing a handful of coins in the Trevi fountain, we recently revisited Rome this year (2014). We were of course staying at this beautiful B&B once more... a perfect place both regarding facilities, standard and service as well as location in the center of the city. You can reach... More

You couldn't ask for anything more in a B&B! Beautiful decor, large, quiet rooms and bathrooms, and fabulous offerings for breakfast. Not to mention it's location! A stones throw from the Vatican and Castel Sant Angelo and an easy walk to many other sights. There are nice little bars and restaurants within a short walk as well. Fabrizio and Michelle... More

This B&B is a gem. Located in the heart of Rome, it is a reasonable walk from the Vatican and the Pantheon, and a short walk from the Piazza Narvone. The streets are lively during the day but quiet in the evening. There are scores of restaurants, many of them very good, between the hotel and P. Navona. There’s no... More

We have just returned from a five nights stay in Rome at this charming little b&b. Michelle the host was very professional and the service was outstanding. Very nice clean rooms , small smart details and a nice breakfast plus the ideal location made this the perfect accomodation for us. Will reccomend the place to everyone looking for a good... More

Stayed here for a short break with my husband last year and loved it! La Maison dell'Orologio is ideally situated close to Piazza Navona and within walking distance of all the major Rome tourist attractions. Michelle our host was welcoming, efficient, and professional. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Both the breakfast and coffee were lovely, and of good... More

While using the search setting of honeymoon/romantic I came across this hotel. I booked it thinking it was a good price for a DOUBLE SUPERIOR ROOM. When booking this double room I said in my comments it would be for two people (as let's face it who wants a double superior room in the honeymoon category for ONE person?). The... More

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
