I needed a place to stay for the night in Rome before I flew out. I chose Dream Station because of it's location and how it looked online. The good: -The room was very clean and was a good size for Italy. -Directly across from Termini so it is wonderful when you are hauling luggage full of wine. The bad:... More

I did travel to Rome on 30 Dec to 2 Jan 2016. The room is good in location and nice facility for visitors. You can enjoy drink and breakfast, but have a bad room service as it was not clean every day.

Stayed with a friend for 2 nights. Right next to the termini station which is convenient for the coach to and from the airport. Lots of food places nearby. Only hesitancy is outside the building it can look a little dodgy. Place itself is pretty secure. Have to get through four locked doors to get to room. Room and bathroom... More

The rooms were very clean and surprisingly quiet given the location across from the Termini station. Despite the area I never felt threatened but learned the hard way how easy it was to get conned by the gypsies in the train station offering directional help(for a fee that was demanded after!).Staff were helpful but you do need to make arrangements... The "hotel" comprises of what was in the past 2 apartments, which have been split into guest rooms. You need to take the (very small) lift to the 4th floor. There are only a small number of rooms available so you need to book early! Each section has it's own shared kitchen with free tea / coffee / water /... More

Very close to termini . ease of access to other places. Nice room. Good host. Only drawback is restaurants close by are not so great. They have 24 hr kitchen that is very good. You can get stuff and heat it up we prefer to eat out thus could not use all the facility.

Best location you could ask for. Adjacent to the train and bus station. Very convenient as base exploring Rome. Facility is good. There is a small kitchen for cooking. Breakfast with light snack/fruit milk is plenty enough for your day. Last but not least, I really would like to say thank you to the manager since my girlfriend lost her... More

This place surprised me by by its location, the manager's warm attitude and cleanliness. Located right opposite the Termini station (the buses for airport leaves exactly from the other side of the road in front of this BnB). I had booked the orange room which can easily accommodate three people. The toilet was very clean with basic toiletries. Being situated... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
