We stayed in the Jumeirah Grand Hotel Via Veneto in October 2014. The property is exceptionally well appointed and has the level of service that you would expect from a high end hotelier. Our room was a Junior Suite and was very spacious, immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. Staff were very helpful & courteous and went out of their way... More

The interior rooms are the quietest rooms. However, I would recommend requiring an upper floor interior room for quiet rather than a lower floor for quiet due to the lousy view lower down on the building. Because my photos would not load, I will have to describe the view from Room 112. It was of a wall covered with green... More

staying at this five star hotel had many fine features. Most of all is the location but the rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel had all the features which you would expect with a five star hotel. But there was one very troubling thing which kind of ruined everything else. We were there at the end of November... More

We booked this hotel through AMEXCO and received a credit for use withinbut the hotel. I was expecting to use my credit for parking as I did in other hotels during this trip but was not able to do that. Parking is 55E / night. We used the credit in the restaurant. The hotel's location is top notch and within... More

We had a nice stay in Rome in July 2014. The hotel is really beautiful as well as its spa. The spa is particularly amazing even though it is not too big. The treatment rooms are very nice and the treatment I had was fine, although my therapist's English was not so good. The concierges were really helpful. It was... More

After visiting many jumeirah properties over the past few years this hotel certainly lived up to the expectation. It is wonderfully clean and the staff are a credit to the brand. Rooms are large and high quality especially giving Bvlgari amenities in the bathroom! Breakfast has a very good choice with the option to have any fresh egg dish made... More

This hotel is a real class act. Every person who worked there made us welcome and took great care of us. Particular note to the wonderful serving staff at breakfast, who welcomed us, poured our coffee (with the milk inside the cup!) and and were incredibly warm. The concierges were patient and helpful; the front desk staff was wonderful. We... More

Nothing but amazing things about this hotel, the service was great, even as soon as you walk in. They treated you so well. The rooms are very nice and large. Beds are very comfortable, and services they provide were just amazing. Although breakfast was not provided unless you paid 30 Euros it was good.

We just spent 32 days in Europe at only 5 star hotels and this wasn't even a close runner up to any of the others. The room was the largest of all but that didn't make up for frayed carpet at the baths in rooms 401 and 403 which we switched to after requesting a room change. The shower walls... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
