We visited during July, very hot weather. Expecting a 5 star service, once we were checked in and I saw the room, I questioned the rating. It was bland, the view was terrible, only of the interior courtyard. Having spent the amount of money we did I expected a lot more. Whilst it was conveniently located near restaurants and shops,... Well, we stayed there based on the previous experiences that we had with Jumeirah hotels. But we were wrong, this hotel just carries the name of Jumeirah, if you are expecting to be treated as ANY other Jumeirah that you have experienced you will be badly disappointed, just like us. The reservation is so weak, they pre-authorized 3 cards of... More

Loved the location in Via Veneto. The rooms are bigger than average for european standards. We got complimentary cherries which was a nice touch The concierge was extremely helpful in helping us find the perfect restaurant for dinner.

We went there in the middle of July and had a great time. The breakfast was wonderful and the overall service at the hotel was perfect. The room, and especially the bathroom, were luxurious. When you arrive at the property, you are taken to check in at a desk and your bags are brought to your room. There is nothing... More

I must say it was a treat to return to this hotel after many HOT days of slugging around the sights of Rome. First of all, the hotel is located in the best area....the top of Via Veneto so there are no awful crowds. Upon entering the hotel you notice it's cool, modern, and the staff is exceptionally friendly! Olga,... More

Unfortunately, this is not your typical Jumeirah, or a typical 5 star hotel. We stayed in room 209 which was very dirty. Black stains on the red carpet, Stains on the wall in the bedroom, water stains all over the ceiling. Reception staff, while charming was not particularly helpful in looking for a room that was clean. Room wasn't made... More

First visit to Rome with my son. From the first moment we stepped in we were greated with a big, welcoming smile. The room was outstanding, great furniture, very comfortable bed and nice amenities. The hotel isteslf is like an art gallerie with amazing restaurant and bar. Very easy to walk into the city, deffinetley the place to stay in... More

My wife and I came to the Jumeirah for our first time in Rome and the first part of our honeymoon in Italy. There is both some vey good things about this hotel but also some bad. Good - The door staff are exceptional. They always smile, making you feel welcome and are very helpful. The breakfast is of a... More

Spent 2 nights at this hotel at the end of June before embarking on a Med Cruise. We are big fans of the Jumeirah Group having stayed at the Jabeel Saray and Madinat in Dubai on several occasions. We were not disappointed, This is a high quality hotel located on a quieter part of the Via Veneto with plenty of... More

Staff: The staff at this hotel is what I am giving the majority of points for (except for some demerits to the housekeeping staff). Reception/front desk: Excellent. We received a very nice welcome, an upon departure the small discrepancy in our bill was cleared up immediately. 5 Stars here. Concierge: These guys are great. So helpful. We did not have... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
