This is a great hotel for Rome, whilst it's not the most central it is minutes from most places and I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel with such helpful staff. The spa is not big, but of a good standard, again helpful staff The roof top restaurant is a must! The rooms are of a good standard,... More

The Jumeirah Grand Hotel Via Veneto is definitely a luxury hotel. We had three room. The rooms are tastefully decorated. Upon arriving, you we appreciate the aesthetics of this hotel. We enjoyed the location due to the location was in walking distance to the city center. The derive at the hotel was clearly five stars. The beds are hard, but... More

The Jumeirah is a good luxurious boutique hotel. The staff is extremely corporative and friendly and is always ready to assist. The rooms are cosy and the bathrooms are large. The restaurant on the top floor serves good food and liquor. Getting to the hotel from the airport is a little expensive and might set you back by 60 -... More

Hotel is 5 stars and well deserved. The service was excellent. Super polite and friendly staff, from doormen to IT support. Special mention to Kate at the reception for the attention and to Stella for her recommendations. The hotel is slightly away from the bustling center but well served by busses and metro. It is within walking distance to the... More

Our kids are both Celiac. The wait staff couldn't have been more knowledgeable and accommodating. The menu in the roof bar is labeled for Gluten Free items, which is very helpful. Fortunately, their signature desert - a massive ice cream sundae - is gluten free. At breakfast they made my kids gluten free pancakes on special order and brought us... More

This hotel was amazing. Not only was it beautiful and located in a wonderful part of Rome, but the staff was second to none. PERFECT. Olga at The Reception Desk, Costanza at Concierge Desk, Marina at the Restaurant, Rafael at the Front Door...GREAT place to stay.

The Jumeirah Grand Hotel truly surpassed our expectations. Each staff member was warm, professional and efficient. The room was gorgeous and well appointed. Breakfast was terrific, with a wide variety of dishes to satisfy both European and American palates. The Time Wine bar was terrific, with a variety of lovely small dishes, a great selection of wine, and an unbelievable... More

On a combined business and holiday trip we stayed here three nights. There are many good things to say about the hotel: - Perfect location in a nice part of the downtown heart - Very warm welcome from the Reception staff and super friendly and helpful service from the whole Concierge team each day - Modern rooms and beautiful marble... Stayed two nights on a business trip. Location is excellent. Right by the Villa Borghese, within walking distance of the Spanish Steps, restaurants, and more. It is a quieter part of town, not the hippest area perhaps, but seemed perfectly safe. The doormen will get you a cab, but there is also a taxi stand half a block toward the... More

I have been planning to this trip for months. It was my first time in Rome. The photos posted on the web seemed very promising, but when I checked in things looked totally different, and I was very disappointed. Very much overpriced. It should be 3 star hotel not 5.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
