After we've read all the positive comments about this hotel we couldn't wait to go there, but now we regret we did. I wasn't waiting for a luxurious hotel, but what I experienced was very disappointing. First of all - the owner of the hotel spoke poor English mixed with Italian so I could barely understand what he said. Sometimes... More

THE GOOD: - My friend chose this B&B because of the size of the room, and it really was huge. We had a queen size bed each! - The location is also good - not in the busy part of town, lots of restaurant options, and it felt safe walking around at night. THE BAD: - Construction work started at... More

The staff were excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much. We used all the rooms (we were 9) and it was like our own little apartment at a very affordable price. There was warm croissants delivered every morning and plenty of snacks right outside our bedroom doors in a private hallway. Great if you love to visit the Vatican... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
