The staff is super friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and large, with tons of light from the massive windows. The ceilings are extra tall, which make the room seem even bigger. The decor is dated, but charming. The bedding is all very old-school and dated, but it gets the job done. The location is decent. There are hotels... More

Dear stonestalone, thanks for your positive review, the decor is classic, not dated, in order to better fit in the area and the historical center itself. We are at 5 minutes by walk from Via Veneto, the heart of the "dolce vita" and close enough to Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. We hope to host you again soon. More

My husband and I stayed here for our 4 nights in Rome. Upon check in we received a very friendly greeting and a lot of help on what to do in the city, and where to eat. The hotel has created a really helpful handout that shows their top picks for restaurants and things to do - sorted by regions... More

Villa pinciana is what you'd expect from a good four star hotel. The location is great - it's within easy walking distance of the Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese and more, yet at the same time it's away from the noise of the main tourist streets. The rooms are small and basic but have everything you need. The beds are comfortable... More

We'd first stayed a Hotel Villa Pinciana a few years ago on our first visit to Rome and with that experience I knew this would be our hotel of choice for our second, recent visit. As stated in the review title, it's a very comfortable hotel with excellent service. While there are hotels located closer to many of the most... More

Wonderful hotel off via Veneto behind Marriott Flora and 15 minute walk to Spanish steps and trevi fountain. Clean quiet and reasonable rates. Not easy to find in Rome. Loved every minute. Breakfast was good and the terrace is wonderful. This will be my hotel whenever I'm In Rome.

I recently stayed at the Villa Pinciana, with my sister, for a short city break. The hotel is in a quiet street near the Borghese Gardens and a short walk from most major sites. It's near to the metro station if required, and the Via Veneto is about five minutes away. There are many nice restaurants in the surrounding streets.... More

This was our first trip to Rome, third time in Italy. We did lot's of online research to find a nice quiet and convenient location in Rome, post cruise for 3 or 4 nights. This charming boutique hotel filled all of our requirements and truly made our stay as welcome as if we had stayed with friends or family. Right... More

Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet, neighborhood (hard to find in Rome). Free breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and modern with a friendly and helpful staff. Good location, not too far from attractions. Nice restaurants near by.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
