This is one of my favourite hotels we stayed in Italy. We were delighted to be upgraded to a suite when we arrived and felt like movie stars when we walked in! We had two balconies and were on the rooftop in Roma! Our room (suite!) was HUGE, with an enormous bathroom, comfortable bed, well stocked mini bar ;) It... More

LOCATION: very central to all the sites, near the Spanish step and Villa Borghese. ROOMS: We had a beautiful updated room but still in the Italian style –an amazing patio area with two sunbeds-little bathroom area but very comfortable room. FOOD: We only had breakfast here which was adequate-there was no bar as such but the management would pour you... More

Small and pleasant hotel. Nice room with a large terrace. Very close to the Via Veneto and the Spanish Steps. Nice yard, quiet street. Decent prices for Rome. For the second time I visit and I'm not disappointed.

A fair deal for this neighborhood, Ludovisi is one of the pricier areas of Rome. Steps to the famous Via Veneto and about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Spanish Steps and all of the shopping. The hotel is in an old well maintained building. There is a spa that is free for guest and breakfast is included... More

Stayed here for business because the location - it's near the embassies and the train station. Because of the upscale neighbourhood there's not a ton to do in the immediate vicinity, but it's not a far walk from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc. The room was a little small but not bad for Rome. Clean, nice breakfast, very friendly... More

Very nice european style hotel located two blocks from Via Veneto. Easy walk to many sights, as well as access to train, subway and bus system. Hotel is inside an old villa - nice room with high ceilings, common areas (lobby, restaurant, bar) are small but efficient. Nice yard with garden area. Very nice staff. Other guests from all around... More

After our reservation, we had several queries which we emailed to the hotel and they were promptly answered. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk north of Terminin up in the banking/embassy district. It's self contained and has a lovely setting with gardens, parking and driveway. Check in was simple and our room was lovely with a balcony as... More

Hotel is located in a quiet area with lots of restaurants nearby. We walked every day either into centre of Rome or to other attractions. I chose Villa Pinciana because I wanted to be outside the main tourist area and still walking distance to everything. The location is great. It's quiet and pretty. I'm guessing an old villa converted to a hotel. The rooms are huge with high ceilings. Ridiculous spaciousness, all very clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful in every... More

The hotel itself is a nice and small hotel, located in a quiet area nearby the veneto street. I, however, experienced the same thing that is already reported to the TripAdvisor comments here. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
