My wife, daughters and I stayed here in 2006. It was the worst stay for a number of reasons. Firstly it was hot & stuffy even with the windows open but the staff refused to turn on the air-conditioning because it apparently was not the right season. This hotel is really strange. I’ll try to put my mixed feelings in as few words possible and please bear with me if you want to know what I mean. Also known as the New Pisana Palace after a refurbishment. We were offered this hotel as a tempting special deal; we knew it was not in the centre, but we were told it is "in the Vatican area".
