While in rome if you are looking for a fancy place where to take your girl for a romantic weekend, or a strategic location to tour the eternal city Residenza Torre Colonna is your place. The staff is super friendly ( do not miss Alvin's performances while singing at the counter ), the structure is quite caracteristic and each and... More

This hotel is simply amazing. Fabulous location and unusual building with history. There is only one room on each floor and not too many floors so it feels very private. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the jacuzzi bath was a great touch for a honeymooning couple! Another jacuzzi can be found on the rooftop with superb views overlooking the... More

B&B located in old tower. Rooms are very clean, perfectly equipped (tea kettle, nespresso coffee machine, mini bar, safe). Big problems with Internet. WiFi doesn't work and mobile Internet doesn't work too, due the thick walls. Breakfast just wonderful. Huge choice of cheeses, meats, patisserie and etc. Locatin is good too. Close to Trevi fountain, Coloseum, Forums and etc. You... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and it is the perfect location to see Rome. We were in room 5, as high as you can get and away from the road noise. The room was beautiful and they laid on flowers and champagne to celebrate our honeymoon. The location is 15 minutes walk from the coliseum and close to everything.... More

This is a lovely boutique hotel with a fantastic location. All the main tourist sites are within walking location of the hotel, and even better you can see them from the roof terrace. Alvin was the guy who ran the hotel on a day to day basis and gave us great help in choosing and booking restaurants. The breakfast was... More

I'm just back from a 3 night stay at Torre Colonna in Rome with my Mom and I would highly recommend this boutique hotel. The hotel is in a great location - walking distance of all the main sights in the centre. The building has been beautifully converted - full of character, with a nice mix of new and old.... More

We stayed here for the May half term with our five year old daughter, it was a fantastic hotel. We stayed in the suite on the fourth floor. Lovely quiet restful rooms, ideal for escaping from the hectic streets of Rome. Alvin, Igor and Sarah were incredibly friendly and welcoming and Alvin's breakfasts were fantastic and a real treat every... More

My husband had visited Rome once, 34 years ago. However, this was the first time for our 18-year-old daughter, my mother, and me. This was the perfect place to stay. Great location, great service, awesome rooms, interesting history. Igor and Alvin took such good care of us. We also liked all the little details: slightly different furniture and different painted... More

We wanted to honeymoon in Rome and we wanted something a bit more special than your average hotel. We certainly found it in Residenza Torre Colonna. What a unique place. There are only 5 rooms, one per floor, so the stay felt more personal. It had a real romantic feel to it. It's ideally placed with everything within walking distance... More

All the really positive previous reviews are thoroughly endorsed. We could not have been happier in this extremely centrally located boutique hotel. Alvin and Igor are absolutely the genuine perfect hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts superb and we slept extremely soundly in the yellow room on 2nd floor. Great restaurant (Lanterne) with easy walking distance. Cannot... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
