Stayed in the 4th floor suite (2 adults plus 2 children). Building full of character, perfect location, room necessarily small given confines of the building but nonetheless fully equipped including an excellent shower. We were made to feel very welcome, and breakfast was "awesome" according to my 12 year old daughter. I agree with her. Rooftop terrace a great place... More

We are a family of four, 2 adults, 2 children ages 9 &11. We spent three nights at the Torre Colonna. We had reserved the family room, but when we arrived we were told that room was taken and we were given two separate rooms. At first I was annoyed, but it ended up not being a problem. The hotel... We had the family suite on the 4th floor. The rooms are small but were perfect for us. The decor is lovely and the novelty of staying in a medieval tower was much appreciated by our kids. The lift is tiny and was fun squeezing the four of us into each day. Breakfast was top class with a nice selection... More

What an amazing place to stay, centrally located to all the tourist spots all within walking distance, the hotel itself is beautifully decorated with breathtaking views from the roof top terrace. The owner Sarah a lovely lady and Alvin so pleasant, friendly and helpful a real nice guy, nothing seemed too much. We were met by Igor on our arrival... More

This is a lovely, quirky accommodation in Rome. Essentially a tower with one en-suite room per floor one above the other. and a tiny lift (or staircase) going top to bottom. We had the 4th floor room which has an extra bedroom which our children shared. The rooms were small and there was not much storage but all in all... More

Imagine sitting in a hot tub with the Colosseum over one shoulder and the Vittorio Emanuele monument ovet the other. Imagine no more! This is a fantastic boutique hotel in a fantastic location - ten minutes to the Trevi Fountain one way and fifteen to the Colosseum the other. The service is great, the rooms lovely - the most comfortable... More

It´s clean and comfortable with a good bed. The room was equipped with an espresso machine and even a computer.I only found the bathroom a bit narrow. Well located and just 12 minute walk to the main city center. Excellent breakfast. The owner and his family are very friendly and very helpful.I left my hair brush at the hotel and... More

Spent 4 nights in the Residenza Torre Colonna with my partner at the end of February and enjoyed a level of help and service that I thought was lost in this world. Right from the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome and valued as guests. We were met by Sarah with an informative welcome... More
