Have just returned from 4 nights at this wonderful, unique place to stay. My husband booked this as a surprise for my 40th birthday and I had no idea where I was staying until we arrived - needless to say he has earned himself masses of brownie points for it! There is 1 room per floor with a glass fronted... More

We are a couple in our mid-forties. We stayed at Torre Colonna for 4 nights in October 2014. We had looked at a LOT of hotels on websites before we found Torre Colonna. Nothing seemed to fit all our requirements: Either the location was poor; or the decor of the rooms was chintzy / old fashioned; or mixed reviews deterred... More

Splendid accommodation in the heart of the city. Very friendly staff and fine rooms. The breakfast is abundant and with freshly made orange juice. To end the day in the jacuzzi on the roof terrace after a long day at any of the famous sights is just perfect.

My wife and I stayed for three nights at the Residenza. We loved it. We walked to all of the attractions except the Vatican in less than ten minutes. Customer service was great especially Albin who served breakfast every morning as well as helped with all of our questions from heating the hot tub, to getting ice, to learning to... More

Stayed in the 4th floor suite (2 adults plus 2 children). Building full of character, perfect location, room necessarily small given confines of the building but nonetheless fully equipped including an excellent shower. We were made to feel very welcome, and breakfast was "awesome" according to my 12 year old daughter. I agree with her. Rooftop terrace a great place... More

We are a family of four, 2 adults, 2 children ages 9 &11. We spent three nights at the Torre Colonna. We had reserved the family room, but when we arrived we were told that room was taken and we were given two separate rooms. At first I was annoyed, but it ended up not being a problem. The hotel... We had the family suite on the 4th floor. The rooms are small but were perfect for us. The decor is lovely and the novelty of staying in a medieval tower was much appreciated by our kids. The lift is tiny and was fun squeezing the four of us into each day. Breakfast was top class with a nice selection... More

What an amazing place to stay, centrally located to all the tourist spots all within walking distance, the hotel itself is beautifully decorated with breathtaking views from the roof top terrace. The owner Sarah a lovely lady and Alvin so pleasant, friendly and helpful a real nice guy, nothing seemed too much. We were met by Igor on our arrival... More
