Hotel Alba did not live up to the expectations, one would have of a three star hotel. One of the worst hotel experiences that my partner and I have both endured. The hotel is situated in a secluded built up area with no general amenities nearby. I truly believe, being a young female staying at the hotel in that location... More

The location was quick to find it. Near the Highway , but not in the center . If you came with public transportation , you have drag your luggage 0,5 km from the bus station to the hotel. But if you want explore rome, you need to time. The Bus drives 30 min to the subway. The reception was very... More

Me and my friend arrived here not expecting anything fantastic and boy were we right. We hated every minute being there and wouldn't visit again. Here are the issues we found... -one of the bedside lamps was completely absent from its fitting on the wall. -the walls were dirty with scuffs, marks and chunks taken out all over the place.... I liked this hotel. The installations was good and the crew is very helpful. Unfortunately, I travelled to Rome using public transportation, and the hotel is very far away than touristic points. I drop-off the bus 1km from hotel and had to walk with my bags. It is not a big problem, but spent more time than planned. I only... More

Even though Hotel Alba seems to be a bit far from the main Rome tourist attractions, this place has all a budget minded traveler is looking for. My room was large, clean, well aerated with a comfy king bed. We have received excellent information on how to get to the closest metro. There is a very good bus, line 558,... More

When you book at this hotel you should know that it is far from the city center. You have to take a bus AND metro to get to the center. First day this can be a little time consuming to find your way back to the hotel. Keep in mind that metro station closes at night. The rooms were quite... More

Not much of a "enjoy your stay" kind of hotel. But if you are low on your budget, then its a good option. But must consider few things before checking in. Its very far from the main city centre. Rooms are decent and bathroom are very small. We somehow like their breakfast and staff was quite generous to help us... More

Good Points: Big room, nice front desk, comfy bed, really good shower, close to a tram and a bus, good bakery nearby Bad points: Ants in the room, terrible breakfast, no restaurant for dinner, no restaurants nearby, far from city centre, staff not very friendly, no bath, no kettle in the room, no welcoming kit/leaflet, run down area (litter everywhere,... We stayed here september 2013 for 3 nights and were slightly let down by it. In images the hotel looks lovely, clean and modern-ish. But its a tad on the side of run down. Our room although big had stained walls, dusty floors and a stained pillow, the colour scheme of dark green also gave it the feel of a... More

We stayed at the Hotel Alba in September for 4 nights. We had read the previous trip advisor comments and have the following to contribute. The Hotel Alba is very much located well out the City area and there is not much around other than a run down pizza place across the road, or just out the hotel to the... More
