Even though Hotel Alba seems to be a bit far from the main Rome tourist attractions, this place has all a budget minded traveler is looking for. My room was large, clean, well aerated with a comfy king bed. We have received excellent information on how to get to the closest metro. There is a very good bus, line 558,... More

When you book at this hotel you should know that it is far from the city center. You have to take a bus AND metro to get to the center. First day this can be a little time consuming to find your way back to the hotel. Keep in mind that metro station closes at night. The rooms were quite... More

Not much of a "enjoy your stay" kind of hotel. But if you are low on your budget, then its a good option. But must consider few things before checking in. Its very far from the main city centre. Rooms are decent and bathroom are very small. We somehow like their breakfast and staff was quite generous to help us... More

Good Points: Big room, nice front desk, comfy bed, really good shower, close to a tram and a bus, good bakery nearby Bad points: Ants in the room, terrible breakfast, no restaurant for dinner, no restaurants nearby, far from city centre, staff not very friendly, no bath, no kettle in the room, no welcoming kit/leaflet, run down area (litter everywhere,... We stayed here september 2013 for 3 nights and were slightly let down by it. In images the hotel looks lovely, clean and modern-ish. But its a tad on the side of run down. Our room although big had stained walls, dusty floors and a stained pillow, the colour scheme of dark green also gave it the feel of a... More

We stayed at the Hotel Alba in September for 4 nights. We had read the previous trip advisor comments and have the following to contribute. The Hotel Alba is very much located well out the City area and there is not much around other than a run down pizza place across the road, or just out the hotel to the... More

Stayed here with the group for our tour. Location wise very far from everything. The rooms are quite big but not that clean. Food all bland, breakfast not so much choices. Overall service from front desk to the dining is poor. Staff don't communicate well in English. .

me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights Very nice room. Shame about there being no English channels for us to watch but that was the only fault in the room. The food was ok, bit of the same though. We did find that the hotel was a bit out of the centre but this just added to the... More

I stayed at the Alba Hotel in September 2012 for a week. The room was basic but spacious. There was a TV, but only the two music channels were in English. The bathroom was clean and spacious too. There was a large wardrobe and the beds in a twin room were larger than a standard single. On arrival the room was... More

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and generally it was a pleasant stay. The rooms are VERY spacious and are alike with the photos. Plus the staff it is very helpful! The breakfast was quite simple and adequate (coffees, cake, flan, corn-flex, croissant, cheese, ham etc.) The hotel was excellent for the money payed. Though, it is little... More
