This apartment hotel had an excellent location, central to all the main sites, walking distance (with two children) no problem. The only issue was that the air conditioning was not the best and although cooler on entry to the room you soon became acclimatised to the set 26degrees. Staff were helpful but slow on attending to requests. Overall average except... More

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is good to the ancient ruins campo di fiori and piazza navona. We had lots of options for restaurants and shopping. The apartment was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was nice for breakfast and snacks.

We booked two family suites (2 bedroom/1full bath/1 half bath/family room/kitchen). The rooms were spacious but need cosmetic updates and new sofas. The a/c works great and was much needed in 90+ degree weather. The beds are hard/firm. The wifi drops out constantly and continuously logging in is annoying. The staff was accommodating, helpful and super nice. The location just... More

We had a one bedroom with sofa bed. The room was big by Rome standards. Beds comfortable. Staff very nice. You need to inform them if you check in after 9pm because reception closes so be aware of this. There are great restaurants next door and the location is fantastic to walk anywhere. Have been to Rome many times but... More

Dolce Vita was a great choice for our stay! It's centrally located by Piazza Venezia and is close to all major bus routes which facilitates getting around (i.e., Vatican City was a 15 minute bus ride on the 64 or 40) and it's within walking distance to great food and main attractions (i.e., Colosseum is a 15 minute walk away,... A really great place to stay. Location is perfect and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our time in Rome. We had both of the two bedroomed apartments. One had a slightly more spacious lounge area than the other but both were adequate. Some comfy chairs would have been... More

Just back from a long weekend and this place was a treat of a find! Would highly recommend staying - perfect location for all the sights and sounds of Rome. The room itself is great size, very clean and staff super helpful. Also close to supermarket, and lovely coffee shops to enjoy from the balcony. Will definitely stay again.

This is the fourth or fifth time I've stayed in the Dolce Vita and as always it was pretty good. Very clean, well equipped rooms and friendly helpful staff. The Vittorio Gassman apartment is probably the least favourite one I've stayed in, mainly because there isn't much natural light, only the bedroom has an external window. But that is a... More

Overall the Dolce Vita Residence was a wonderful place to stay for my 21 year old daughter and myself. However we got off to a rocky start... I had paid in full, over $1,200 for our 6 night stay (weeks earlier), and upon our 9pm arrival were told that we had NO reservation. I nearly had a heart attack! I... More

We stayed here for one night for my whole familiy. The location is superb, perfect and close to everything. Communication response is fast and quick. Check in and check out is smooth. Rooms are spacious. But pls note that for some floors, lift are not accessible, you need to tell them if you have walking difficulties. The staff are willing... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
