Our two-night stay here was very comfortable-- the bed was one of the best we stayed on during our trip, and the bathroom was spacious. Mauro was a little late meeting us to check us in, but he was so apologetic we couldn't stay mad. :) He was very helpful in explaining where to get the complimentary breakfast, and in... More

We were in Appartment 2, Verde, for 8 days. The reception by the owner was very welcoming. The explanation of the way things work around the apartment was brief but sufficient. Breakfast consisted of coupons for the Lemongrass cafe right next door. Typical Italian breakfast, consisting of coffee/tea and a selection from croissants. For storing cold drinks and other perishables... More

It was suitable for what we needed it for just a room to sleep in. It is small but Mauro did confirm this with us many times so we where well aware. Cheap very clean and comfortable. We did one more night as our travel agent mixed our days and Mauro's wife was very kind to find us another place... More

Absolutely wonderful location for site-seeing in Rome. We walked less than half a block to meet the tour for the Vatican, and easy walking distance to the Metro to get to the Colosseum, etc. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including a good-size balcony with table and chairs. Had private bath, hair dryer, etc. We did... More

This is a small B&B of only 3 rooms in what seems to be a converted apartment. Yes the room was a little small, but it was clean and met all of our needs. There was even a hairdryer. Service was excellent; the owner even offered to look up bars to watch the world cup for us when we inquired.... More

We absolutly loved this place! nothing bad to say. Felt very safe, close to metro and the vatican, are room was the smallest one available but was the perfect size for us. manager was very friendly, breakfast was very good, would be nice to be able to switch the capuccino out for someting else since I don't drink coffee.

I chose to stay at ottaviano Augusto as the reviews all sounded positive and they did not let us down. My son and I stayed in the smallest room for 2 people which Mauro had explained was small but no worries for the amount of time we spent in the room mainly to sleep it was excellent. Wifi was no... Have stayed here twice, and loved it both times. It's close to everything, it's clean, and the service was exceptional. Mario and his wife met us , helped us settle in and were available by phone or email at all times. We also had a car waiting for us at the airport. Stay here, you will not regret it!

Ottaviano has a fantastic location - just 4 to 5 mins walk from Vatican City entrance, and 4 to 5 minutes walk from Ottaviano Metro station. The rooms are large and comfortable, but fairly basic - although it does come with erratic wifi and a fridge. This is actually an apartment converted into a hotel / motel so you enter... More

The b&b is not fancy but is comfortable and located close to all major transportation and amenities. It is located on via Ottaviano, where you can find great shopping at reasonable prices and plenty of restaurants. All major attractions are just a subway ride away within 5 to 10 minutes or if you are energetic, within a 20 to 60... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
