We're finishing up our honeymoon and had two ok hotels in Venice and Florence. We got to the Ave Roma and couldn't believe just how nice it is. It's looks, the smell (breakfast sweets leave a great scent in this place) the reliable/fast wifi, and most importantly, the location, made this place incredible hotel to stay at. Vincenzo the owner/manager... More

The place is in the heart of historical Rome just a few steps from St. Angel's Castel and Piazza Navona. Besides this central position it has the so called ambiance. The staff is small and very professional. Vicenzo, the host of the reception, gives EVRY guest a cordial fatherly welcome. Both he and Vera are always ready with a piece... More

Close to st pieters square, San Pietro railway, bus and taxi rank. Need good strength and mobility to manage steps in and out of cellar bedroom. Owner provided great care in confirming booking and was excellent communicator.

Wonderful little place, quaintly decorated within walking distance of most tourist attractions. The rooms are comfortable and have all the modern amenities. The managers, Vera & Vincenzo are just brilliant hosts. They were extremely hospitable & friendly. It would be the place we would chose to stay in during our next visit to Rome.

Great location across the river from the Vatican and only a couple blocks from Piazza Navona. Vera and Vincenzo made us feel at home and were especially helpful recommending restaurants. Reasonably priced with a pretty good breakfast selection. We definitely would stay there again.

If you want to see St. Peter's and the Vatican, the location of this B&B was great. Price is very reasonable. Bathroom a little small but doable. Internet access was spotty but Paula very nice and not too many steps going up and down. I would recommend this.

We planned our first visit to Rome, primarily to visit the Vatican and see the sights. Ave Roma was recommended by a friend and we'd recommend it to any couple. Paula, our hostess, was very helpful in guiding us to the location and also during our time in Rome. The place was clean and cozy. Breakfast was limited but the... More

Ave Roma was situated in a lovely area 5 minutes from the vatican. Right near bus stops and taxis. Small but comfortable room. The bnb owner was lovely but she was never around. Breakfast was not nice at all, and ending up having to go out for breakfast every morning.
