Have just returned from a 3 day trip to Rome and booked after a day trawling through this website for hotels! Was not disappointed, the hotel is modern inside, not much to look at from outside and the staff were incredibly helpful. We arrived an hour early, but no problem checking in. Rooms were lovely, clean, minimalistic, free room safes,... more

delightful first stay in Rome!! The twentyone is situated in a perfect place for visiting every part of Rome. The hotel is new. It's a design hotel, and the service from the staff was truly outstanding. Coffee made to order...we requested a double cappuchino that was the very best!!! more

Hotel Twentyone looked great online but sadly our experience completely changed our view. Do not stay here if you value customer service! Upon arrival we were finally informed (after hearing several fabricated excuses - air conditioning broken / entire floor being repaired) that our room had been double booked, despite the fact that we had received written confirmation of our... more

Small rooms but good and beautiful. Breakfast not so good. Excellent location near Vaticano and Piazza del Poppolo that is a great start to know all this beautiful city on foot. more

Location is indeed great, away from the tourist neighbourhoods, still very near to everything. I had a deluxe room, it was very quiet (which is very appreciated) and clean. My room had no St Peters views or any other worth mentioning views and it was more on the small side. My friends who had the same category had a bigger... more

I don't know where the people leaving 'negative' comments have been staying - but in my opinion, it can't have been this hotel!! Set in a beautiful 'high end' street in Rome - just a few minutes walk away from the Vatican and Castel St. Angelo in one direction; and Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps in the other......with... more

The location is just fantastic. Felt very safe in this classy end of town. The room was the same size as I would expect in London or NY - so on the small side but very stylish and clean. The staff were great. All 10/10 If I had been asked by the hotel I would suggest they get mattress toppers... more

Walk to Piazza Popolo. Walk to Vatican. This local tucked away hotel was perfect for us. No tourists roaming around, Metro was about 3 blocks away, lots of local eateries and shops (equals no markups!). Staff was actually pretty snobby, which was bad. Every answer was 'just taxi it'. But we wanted to do more local travel like walk or... more

The hotel was great. The outside is of an old building but inside is a hidden gem. The hotel is excellent, super comfortable, super modern interior, lovely helpful staff and super clean. Just make sure you ask for a upper floor room with balcony and view out to the front. The breakfast was lovely and nothing was missing, contrary to... more

We stayed there 3 nights in August. We arrived fairly early in the morning and were told to come back at 2 pm which seems to be the standard operating procedure with most hotels in Europe. The blonde hair bell boy was extremely friendly, I couldn't really say the same for the counter staff. We got a map from the... more
