This hotel is in a good location, right between the Spanish Steps and The Vatican. There is a metro station "Lepanto" which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and pretty much takes you anywhere. I was a little disappointed at check-in as the girl seemed disinterested compared the the guy beside her who was giving ample information to... More

The hotel was in a great location. Either a walk or cab ride away from your destination. Check-In: Check in was a little sticky. There was a large group crammed in the lobby upon our arrival. Fortunately, James the bellman noticed us lost in the crowd and helped us get checked in. There were two of us and we requested... More

Staying at hotel Twentyone was an overall pleasant experienced for me and my wife. It’s a value for money hotel and a really good choice for anyone visiting Rome. Pros: The prime location (7 minute walk to Piazza del Popollo, 5 minute walk to the metro station 10 minute walk to the Vatican). The friendly stuff. The room was modern,... More

Our room was very accommodating for a family of four. The beds were comfortable, bathroom and room were impeccable. The hotel staff was wonderful in providing directions and securing travel arrangements. Check-in and Check-out were efficient and we were able to store our bags the day we checked out so that we could continue touring the city. We found a... More

My family and I had a pleasant stay at the Twentyone Hotel in Rome recently. The hotel has an ideal location for exploring the Vatican as well as other areas of Rome. Shopping is also good in the area, and we found some very nice and decently priced restaurants in the neighborhood as well. Having the possibility to use the... More

Cons: Hard beds. No ice. Fridge in room moderately cools beverages. No ice machine on floors. Ice machine "doesnt work" everyday i ask restaurant. And supermarkets apparently never sell ice in rome. Sounds backwords in a world where its one of the hottest places to go to. Rome is the huge tourist city. To not be able to accomodate that... More

Reasonably central location within walking distance of the Vatican and Piazza del Popolo. Good links elsewhere via Lepanto Metro station or the buses on Via M Colonna. Good accommodation with a very generous balcony on the 5th floor. Good breakfasts even if a bit chaotic at rush hour.

We stayed at TwentyOne as a family on our recent Italy trip. We really enjoyed the area and location - quick to the old town and quick to the vatican. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was plentiful. The only downside was the wifi seemed a bit slow at times. All in all, i'd recommend TwentyOne to anyone... More

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, which included our wedding anniversary. If we ever return to Rome, which hopefully we will, we would stay at this hotel without hesitation. From checking in with help from Rita, we couldn't fault anything. The bar was fab, the food was amazing and the staff could not be more helpful. Special mention goes... More

If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to St Peters then this is the one for you. 2 min walk to Piazza Cavour and a further 5 mins along the Tiber to the Square. Quirky well appointed hotel. Cute little cafe bar Route 66 directly across the road do excellent paninis and have s good selection of international... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
