Room was spacious (for rome) with a coffee machine, and snacks for breakfast. Very handy since Italians generally don't sit down for breakfast! Walking distance to termini station, but definately recommend a taxi if you have a few bags. A 15 min trip took almost an hour after getting lost and struggling with our heavy bags over the cobblestone streets.... More

Great location of the place, walking distance of the termini busstation and every historical site in the centre. Very clean, spacious room. Coffee, delicious almond biscottis and a few drinks included. Very friendly, helpful and hospitable owner. Next time we go to Rome, we will again stay at Sweat Dreams, no doubt.

I flew into Rome and my flight was delayed so I didn't manage to arrive until about 2.30am, but Giovanni was still there waiting for me. Giovanni took the time to explain to us the best places to visit and gave good advice. The rooms were clean and well presented. Fantastic location, you can walk everywhere from here and there... We have just arrived back from staying at sweet dreams and we can't recommend it enough. The hotel took us a while to find as it is in a traditional apartment block onthe very busy via nazionale but When we arrived it was lovely. They even accommodated for us arriving early. Once we arrived we were given a really in... More

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting Rome. Very good all round! we arrived at 1pm and Giovanni was waiting to greet us. He was very helpful and went through lots of things to do in Rome and located these on a map that he gave us. Room was cleaned daily and the bed was made every morning. there were... More

I stayed with my mom for four nights and we had the best time. Everything that you need to see is near this hotel. And to the Vatican you just have to take the 64 bus right outside the hotel! If you need silence to sleep it maybe difficult for you to have a room with window to Via Nazionale,... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights after a 23 hour travel from the other side of the world. We checked in very late around 22:00. The owner was very kind to wait for us even that late. It is very close to Termini station. You could either walk or take the bus and the bus stop is right in... More

What a lovely little find in Rome... My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of March and found it to be exactly what we wanted! Having never been to Italy before I chose someone quite central and the location was great for us. Extremely close to the Vatican and then a pleasant walk to the... More

Location is perfect! Famous attractions are just a short walk away. In the same street you have art gallery, great designer boutiques and great restaurants. As a result, you have more time to enjoy and less time to stress during hot summer days. :-) Owners are multilingual and service is great! They were very attentive and have a sophisticated taste.... We have stayed there with friends. The rooms are large and comfy, plenty of ligth and a really nice view to the park. Variuos local breakfast snacks are offered every day, and there is a great coffee machine to make capuccino, espresso, moccacino, hot chocolate! The location is fantastic -- very central, everything was accessible by feet! They have free... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
