Great location, helpful staff on where to go and things to do, would recommend for anyone looking for a cheap no frills option while travelling. Only issue was the small kitchen available may get crowded if a few people need to use it (I didn't as I was only there for one night).

It's good that hotel is situated near center, so you don't need to take any public transport to visit all important places (monuments, etc). The room was small, but cosy, except cleanees. We found lots of hair of cleaning lady (we suppose) in bad and everywhere, but they clean it up after we told that to the receptionist. So, in total, the... More

My fiancé and I stayed in La Luna Romana for four nights in July 2015. The hotel is in a great location - about a ten minute walk to the central train station. We walked everywhere from there to be honest but if you don't like to walk then it is easy to get a bus/metro literally around the corner... More

Room was a lot smaller than pics and had an awful view. The shower was so small n shower head just spat out water. Apart from that, the location was perfect! Bus not far away but easy to walk in which we did all the time. The hotel was very clean n air con worked great. Staff were helpful but... More

I spent two days in Rome at the La Luna. The bedrooms are good and clean. I thought I would find an old room but it was reformed and with a good bathroom. It was one or two blocks from bus stops that took me to any touristic site. The breakfast wasn't that good but it wasn't expensive either. No... More

Excellent location to walking distance from Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Piazza della Republica. Relatively close to Vatican and St Peter's. Very close to Termini Railway station (airport shuttle). The room is simple but spacious. Cleaning every day. Clean towels, hairdryer included.Maybe some storage place missing (clothes, soap, towels). Personel speaks good english and is very helpful in advicing.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
