Hotel good overall. However, the cleanliness full of poor, moldy shower, not everything works. Breakfast will not get Sunday. Butter outdated. But all this is compensated by great location and a great apartment in historic style of Hotel good overall. However, the cleanliness full of poor, moldy shower, not everything works. This is not a Relais, which implements that it would be a large mansion. It’s just a small apartment split up in many two-bedrooms. There is also no reception and the apartment is not attended. So in order to make sure that you can check in you would have to call in about 1 hour ahead of your arrival. Emailing... More

Whilst staying in Sorrento (hotel Delfino), we decided to drive to Rome and spend the night, It was all a bit ad-hoc with the car hire and hotel hire, but I can't complain. The booking process for the hotel was very easy, the hotel location was a little strange, but once in the hotel "Bernarde" was the best host. the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, we were met by the owner - Bernardo who was very friendly and relaxed. The apartment was very nice and spacious. The only downside was the bathroom - it needs some updating but is fit for purpose. Lovely to get a fresh pastry in the morning and a great coffee machine to have a... More

I had booked this apartment through booking.com and the owners of 'rome sweet home' took €303 deposit at that time. A week before we were due to arrive I got an email stating that this apartment was no longer available but they could put us up in an alternative one which basically I had to agree to as it is... The location was excellent. Close to monuments, metro, restaurants, wine bars etc. The room was modern, clean, comfortable. The price was amazing-an offer through bookin- 50E/night. Be sure you call them before you arrive. There is no reception desk and no elevator.Generally, we were very satisfied, i would book it again if i ever visited Rome again

I am giving this 3 stars because the location was great for our needs. This 4 room bed and breakfast was super-convenient to the Colosseum and Roman forum. More importantly, the Monti neighborhood is a great. low cost food mecca (low cost, for Rome, that is). We ate very well here, especially at Alle Carrete pizza which is right next door... More

We stayed here for a long weekend on 20/09/13. When we arrived we were shown to our room and given keys and told about breakfast. There was no one in the b&b unless meeting new guests but was told that if we need anything at all to call the mobile ( which we never did). The room was clean, beds... More

Got recommendation to stay at this appartment by a friend and we're glad we booked here. The staff was very friendly, the room was big and new (we had the deluxe room, but other rooms were very decent as well), the Lavazza espresso machine gave an extra touch to our Italian experience. The location was superb, fairly close to the... More

This is a wonderfully appointed place, rather swish designed but strangely soulless for a solo traveler. The breakfast 'appears' in the early hours of the morning in a little kitchenette ... rather basic it must be said. The hotel door can be a challenge to open, especially after climbing those flights of stairs. Very close to sights and easy walking... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
