Comfortable, nicely decorated room and approachable, helpful staff. An ideal location with the Colosseum just a short walk away, and metro bus station just around the corner. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

The hotel is easy to locate if you have good orientation skills. We asked for a room with a balcony, which the staff took good care to offer it. Our first impression was that the room is clean, a lot of space. The bathroom was really nice and always clean (a little issue with the smell from the pipes, but... More

Domus Caracalla was exactly the sort of bed and breakfast I had pictured for my stay in Roma. The decor is so charming, it truly has that 'Rome' feel to it! It is tucked away on a quiet and safe street, but yet it is still very close to all the attractions. The service was impeccable, they truly go above... More

Short walk to Colloseum and to other Metro stations. Lovely people. Continental breakfast served in your room. Clean, nice room (with balcony). Free wifi was a god send for finding bus times etc. Bit involved to get in first time but no problem afterwards (you need a key and a passcode). Quiet at night (apart from passing ambulances but this... More

What a little gem of a hotel, tucked away in a little street only 15 minutes walk from Colesseum. Spotlessly clean and very cosy with a modern bathroom and amazing shower. The lift can be a bit scary at first and you have to remember to close all the doors when you get out or it wont work for anyone... More

I have just returned from this B&B with my boyfriend, we stayed there for three nights. I was originally booked into another hotel but changed my mind after seeing the good reviews that Domus Caracalla was receiving. I emailed the reception at Domus Caracalla before I arrived to arrange a taxi to collect us from the airport and take us... More

The hotel/motel is very nice, stuff is friendly and go out of their way to help you. Rooms are clean and well maintained. It's 10-15 minutes walking to Colosseum and the main streets. Also the bus stop is very near that takes you to every major attraction. The only downer is the location. Firstly it was triky to find, so... More

We were very nicely surprised when we entered the room. Very clean, big enough with a modern bathroom. Breakfast served in the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Great connections to Metro and buses. Close to Colosseum and other attractions. Very reasonable prices. Good restaurant near by Music Lunch...highly recommended! Wi-Fi really works !

We stayed here for 5 days in October and was pleasantly surprised with our stay. Other reviews refer to the fact the hotel is only 10 minute walk from colleseum when in fact it is more like 20. Still not too bad but it was further than we thought. Comfortable stay, clean and modern rooms with en suite. It might... More

Fantastic hotel, very clean and comfortable. There are free towels and cosmetics added every day! There is also an electric kettle and tee in the room. Air conditioning is also free of charge. Breakfasts are typically Italian - toasts, orange juice, croissant and a cup of coffee. The ladies at the desk are very friendly, helpful and speak very good... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
