Stayed one week with a group of university students. Small sympathetic family hotel near the Stazione termini. Easily reached. Clean. Breakfast could be a bit bigger but if you think about the price this was quite OK. People were polite and friendly. You felt safe.

We stayed here for 3 days and it is homely, clean and the deskfront was really helpful, it is difficult to find, however one you find it you won't be disappointed. Breakfast is nice as well, I would definitely go back.

If you want a clean, comfortable and accessible place to stay near Rome Termini you should consider Hotel Malu. Friendly staff and walking distance from the train terminal. Good option and very clean too.

The location was good, it's near the termini station. The hotel is quiet difficult to find, because there was only a huge wooden (or metal? i'm not sure) door with intercom beside the door. Stayed here for three days in the first week of October for our honeymoon. The room was clean and provided us with everything we needed to travel Rome. Breakfast was excellent every morning, and the woman at the front (Debra or Barbara?) was extremely helpful with directions and whatnot.
