The location is perfect for the train station and for visiting rome. It is a 15 min walk to the Colosseum and ancient ruins with restaurants on the way. Make sure you head off the main streets down to the side streets to find the best restaurants. The hotel is within an apartment block but saying that we had a... More

The hotel is actually easy to find and it near Termini station, main station in rome. The hotel in first floor and there a very vintage lift which I am fond of. The room is big and comfortable with a unique and vintage feel ceiling. .. making you feel back in time. Toilet a bit small but manageable. The ower... More

The location is perfect. Just a 2 minute walk from the Termini train station (do not use google maps it takes you a long way because it doesn't take into account streets for the trams that so have pavements). When walkin into the hotel my initial thought was it would be terrible as we had come from a rubbish hotel... More

Great little place tucked in off small courtyard. Small but comfortable room, very clean, good value for the money. Would definately stay there again, only two block from Main train station. Staff, especially Donna, was terrific

Strongly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Roma for a short visit! The Room I stayed was clean and had all the facilities I need during our stay. It's a few minutes walk from Termini Station, which is the hub for touring around the city. The nice restaurants in the neighborhood are a plus! The only problem being the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in May 2013. The hotel was great, rooms were nice and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel was great, less than a 5 minute walk from Roma Termini (an easy walk with our suitcases and you can get the train from the airport to Roma Termini).... More

We stayed 6 nights in total, we had a late check in the first night, and were a little confused how to get into the building after we found it. Our room had a balcony and was out onto a little courtyard at the back and was basic in decor but clean and tidy. The bathroom was tiny! They have... More

Very close to the the Terminal station. I stayed with with my husband, and thePerfect, clean rooms, just the right size. Friendly staff. The entrance could be a little better. But that is a minor issue. Reasonably priced priced b&b, considering the location. Was a little difficult to locate initially.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
