La Papessa is in the heart of Rome, in a very convenient location. My boyfriend and I struggled to find the building and the entrance though; it is not easy to find. Once we got there, we found the door locked and no one there to help us, but we later figured out that they had been trying to contact... More

The rooms were basic but adequate. It is the location that can't be beat. Walk easily to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Marcela is so nice, friendly and helpful. This is a B&B so there is no one there from the afternoon until the following morning but they are just a phone... More

.Before I begin my review I want to mention that I have never stayed at a B & B and was rather curious and anxious. We arrived at La Papessa which was centrally located and was greeted by the owner. She was not only the innkeeper but a great concierge. She showed us the room with 5 star luxury and... More

The location is fabulous. Right on the Via Del Corso, within easy walking distance of major attractions. Marcela is very nice and she can help you with getting around the city and finding decent places to eat.

This was our first trip to Rome, but the staff at La Papessa made us feel like we were at home. The transportation that they arranged for us from the airport went smoothly at a reasonable price. We arrived in the early afternoon and was greeted by a friendly and engaging Marcella. She gave us advise regarding places to visits... More

My wife and I stayed here for a night and everything was great! The location is ideal and an easy walk to all that Rome has to offer. Marcella was extremely helpful and took care of everything we needed. We had an early Vatican tour in the morning before breakfast was served so Marcella made sure we had something to... More

If you want to explore Rome on foot, this is a great place. Located right in the heart of the city, you can reach the Pantheon in less than five minutes. Same for Trevi Fountain. There's a bus stop right outside the building for further trips. My room was big, with a beautiful old ceiling and a very comfy bed.... More

What a lovely place to stay. My husband and I have just returned from a 3 night break and were extremely happy with our choice to accommodation. We did have a little problem with the taxi transfer that we had arranged via La Papessa but after a phone call it was sorted quickly, It is 50 Euro to get a... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
