Me and my boyfriend stayed here for four nights and couldn't be more pleased with our stay. We had a friendly welcome from Marcella who couldn't do enough for us and was more than happy to talk us through how to get around and where to go. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. We ate breakfast every... More

Dears, "grazie mille" for your kind review, you're right when you say that I was more than happy: it was so nice to talk with you every morning and help you to feel you as at home in Rome. I hope with all my heart to see you again very soon. I wish you all the best and "arrivederci a... More

We stayed here in early July, all 4 of us snug in one room. As others have mentioned, the beds are harder than typical in the U.S. but I got used to them. Note carefully the directions they send to you, as it is not obvious from Via del Corso where the guesthouse is located. A great location, easy walking... More

La Papessa is an absolutely fantastic guest house. Marcella was beyond helpful in introducing us to Rome and providing all the information we could have wished for. The location is absolutely perfect - we walked everywhere including to the other side of the river and the Vatican with no problems at all. The room was beautiful with a painted ceiling... More

We was there on our second vacation and like on the first time, it was AMAZING! Great people, breath taking rooms in historical building, amazing service. If we can some time to go back and repeat our trip to there - be sure we will!

The La Papessa Guesthouse is located in a pretty perfect central location on a Main Street in Rome. It's in a 16th century building on the 3rd floor. Fortunately our driver knew where to enter as it does not have a prominent street level entrance. There is a small lift or stairs up to their location. Rome is a walking... More

We stayed 4 nights at "La Pappesa". The advantages in this guest house are its location and Friendly Staff. Location: in the center of Rome a short walk from Trevi Fontana, The pantheon, Piazza Venecia. In the central street Via del Corso. We did not have to use any public transportation during our visit. The hotel is located in an... More

Perfect location, central to so many different places and attractions. Staff were so helpful and room was beautiful. Although the busiest road is right outside door, when in bedroom, you couldn't hear a bit of noise from outside. Lovely breakfast each morning.

This was our second stay at La Papessa. I absolutely love the location and staff! Very close to several Rome landmarks: Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona. Marcella and Catarina are very friendly and accomodating. Our room was quiet and well air-conditioned (Rome was hot!). We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here on our first trip to Rome which also happened to be our Honeymoon. We couldn't fault it. Staff were so friendly and helpful, organising transport for us as well as showing us the best ways to reach all the landmarks. We would stay again.
