What a great find (helped by you folks here on TripAdvisor!). Right on Via del Corso minutes from the Pantheon and other major attractions you couldn't find a better place to stay with a friendlier staff. The room we had, "Papa," was HUGE, but I think all four of the rooms are similar in size and style from what I... More

Outstanding location. Also: Very nice room and bathroom, very good breakfast, wonderful staff. In spite that the room faced a main street - no noise. Even when we oppened the window noise did not disturb us. The only drawback: the elevator stops in the middle between two floors, so you have to go half a floor up or down.

We stayed at La Papessa for a short break to The Eternal City. Firstly, the communication was first class, we were delayed by our flight and even though our arrival was late at night, this wasn't an issue. Secondly the location is fantastic, 5 mins walk from the Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon and The Memorial Emmanuelle Vittorio. The beauty of... More

Here you can feel all the warm side of the Eternal City. Its main characteristic is that you can breathe history either in a comfortable place where you can relax in a well located zone of the city but quite enough to let you fall asleep after long walks. Monuments, services and zone of interest are all around. Another good... More

Very frendly staff. Perfect location. Staff and location makes this small hotel exeptional. Room is not big; however, have everything what is required for short stay. Daily cleaning. Weak Wi-Fi. . . . . . . .

We booked our stay, it seemed a little confusing at first as we were moved to the sister hotel, but theyre owned by the same lady. We were greeted immediately, it was very independent, come and go as you please with keys - the place was gorgeous, the décor amazing and the breakfast smashing. This is such a lovely little... This is the 2nd time I stayed in La Papessa. The hotel give me a warm feeling like back home as the hosts, Caterina always welcome her guests with a very warm greeting. They are extremely helpful and accomodative. The hotel is small with just a few rooms so the environment is very quiet. Rooms are huge and clean with... More

La Papessa is a great B and B in the heart of historic Rome. If you want a big hotel with 24 hour concierge service, this isn't the place. If you want a small B and B that is very comfortable, has a great staff, and the perfect location, than this is the place for you. La Papessa has only... More

The place is extremely central and close to practically everything. However it is extremely well insulated so even though it is practically on the main road no noise infiltrates. That was extremely important for me as I am a light sleeper. The breakfast was very good. Cleanliness is amazing and the rooms are spacious. The hosts Caterina and Marcella are... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
