we stayed here for three nights in December 2014, the location is outstanding with really lovely bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood and spectacular shopping in every direction. The staff were really fabulous helping us to book entrance to the tourist sites we wanted to see and making recommendations for dinner, in particular the recommendation for the chocolate shop around... We've just returned from a three night stay at the hotel and can't praise it enough. For a very reasonable cost, you are at the heart of chic Rome. The Spanish Steps and designer shops are on your doorstep. The area is fantastic for great bars and restaurants that won't break the bank but are great quality. This is not... More

Great location in the heart of the city. The staff were courteous and helpful. Specially Giuseppe ,who helped me with all my heavy bags @ 5 AM with a big smile , made my stay at the hotel seemingly effortless. Spacious and well equipped bathroom and the quite room also was a big plus. I would recommend it to anyone.

I booked this hotel on the basis that it appears on Mr and Mrs Smith and I wasn't disappointed. The trip to Rome was a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday; the rooms and hotel were spotless, bathrooms luxuriously apointed and generally fabulous. The hotel is located about 20 steps from the Spanish Steps and all of the main attractions are... More

The staff were incredibly helpful and polite - great recommendations for dinner reservations. The room was immaculate, we were in the roof terrace apartment (top floor) which was absolutely gorgeous. Spacious bath and bathroom, huge comfy bed, a free Nespresso maker (a revelation) and although the ceilings were understandably 'cosy', there was plenty of room for unpacking so it didn't... More

The hotel is located just off the Spanish Steps and surrounded by great restaurants and wine bars. Most places are easily access by walking and for places further afield the Metro is also close, which we used for getting to the Vatican, Colosseum, and train station. The staff were always available to help and answer questions. As we stayed in... More

Brought my wife to rome for her 30th birthday, so glad I chose this accommodation - perfect location, lovely room and extremely helpful, friendly and attentive reception staff - particularly Chabeeka (recommended and booked great restaurants for us, as well as giving us tips to avoid lengthy ques for main attractions).

This boutique hotel is a hidden gem in Rome. This place has character: charming suites, unique design and layout, central location. If you prefer to stay in nice non-chain hotel, this should be your choice. We will definitely recommend it to our friends!

This is a great little hotel located in close to the Spanish steps, several museums, good restaurants and high street shopping. The rooms have contemporary but yet comfortable interiors with all the amenities you need. Good beds and good sleep!

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
