Such a beautiful boutique hotel, perfect location, we walked to the Spanish steps ( one minute walk) Trevi fountain 20 minute walk, pantheon 25 minutes. Shops just outside your front door. Hotel offered free coffe and pastries to you room free of charge. Staff were always eager to help with recommending restaurants. Room was a good size, very clean, we... More

We were in Rome for only 4 nights and found this accommodation to have the perfect location - walking distance to all the top sites. Our room was enormous (room 8), beautifully decorated, clean and the perfect sanctuary from the heat and hustle and bustle. We were also given a fantastic booklet of the hotel owners' favourite restaurants, cafes and... More

Excellent caring, friendly service by staff. Lovely large room and great location near the Spanish Steps. - highly recommended! Close to great cafés and supplemented by a great guide book written by the owner of this establishment. Croissant and fresh orange juice breakfast delivered to room when required. Some really nice special features here.

We were greeted by Alessandra who immediately gave us drink vouchers and showed us to our room. She then went on to suggest where we would find the best shopping in and gelato in town! Giuseppe was incredible! He helped us find the best restaurant in walking distance to us and even took the time to call and make our... More

From the moment we walked into Mario de' Fiori we were greeted with a complimentary drink card and a beautiful room, perfect for three. Alessandra recommended an amazing gelato place right down the street and for dinner, Giuseppe made us a reservation at Dilla. Giuseppe's recommendation proved to be our favorite in Rome! We stayed here for a night before we flew home after a fortnight in Tuscany. It was the perfect spot for our family group to do some speedy sightseeing and shopping in our last 24 hours in Italy. Especially since we had 4-6 year old kids and grandparents who appreciated not having to walk too far to the Spanish Steps,... More

My wife and I were very happy with our hotel and spacious, beautiful room. Located centrally in the heart of Rome, convenient to everywhere. Staff was very friendly and capable, Giuseppe assisted us very helpfully, as did the rest of the staff. Had a great time and would be very glad to return.

I booked this hotel online several months before going to Rome. Though I had sent an email requesting a cot for my daughter and making it clear that we would be a couple with a child and not just 2 adults as the reservations had indicated, they were not aware of this change when we arrived. The way it was... More

My partner and I stayed here for four nights, the apartments are in a fantastic location and the hotel is a great place to stay. Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
