We stayed here for 2 days while visiting Rome. We could not fault this hotel. The location is perfect, 2 mins from Spanish steps. Every single member of staff was so friendly and open to all questions asked. The room itself was so beautiful and so romantic. We would definitely return to this hotel if staying in Rome.

Just returned from 3 days at this lovely little hotel. It is friendly, stylish and right in the heart of the shopping area of central Rome and about 2 minutes from the Spanish Steps. It is located on a pretty little side street with lots of independent shops and boutiques as well as designer stores close by and lots of... More

My husband and I just checked out of this wonderful hotel on Monday and we were sad to leave this amazing little gem. Starting with the location, perfectly situated within walking distance of everything, primarily closer to the Spanish steps and the 5th Avenue of Rome! Once checked in, we were greeted by Alessandra who was wonderful, very pleasant and... More

This place is relaxation in a nutshell whilst being in a great busy location. The room was lovely- they'd thought of everything. We didn't arrive till late but it didn't matter one bit- we were still shown to our room and treated well. The ace worked well, the bed was SO comfy and the linen was soft and welcoming. Lovely... I wanted something cool centrally located and I got it. The rooftop suite was it. I know they have an elevator but the place is on the scale of a comfortable sized house in a great area so I was up and down a lot, why wait. The staff was friendly, particularly Giuseppe who helped fulfill my requests. Cheers.

The Mario de Fiori is one of three small luxury hotels near to the Spanish steps. In a city of baroque extravagance and ancient antiques, the Mario has modern, sleek design. All white paint and wooden floors. We stayed in a junior suite on the first floor and appreciated the extra space. The real surprise was how quiet the room... More

We stayed for a long weekend in the rooftop suite and the stay surpassed my expectations. The room was lovely and, though not huge, was quite quirky in its layout, which made it a wonderful romantic retreat from the busy streets below. You're in the rafters, so there's no view to speak of, but then the rest of Rome provides... More

The rooms are very stylish and lovely. The location is outstanding and we were able to see all the sights within easy walking distance. The little booklet provided by the owner is outstanding and a really lovely touch. We went to a couple of the restaurants recommended in the booklet and they proved to be fantastic. My only concerns are... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
