Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights. The room was comfortable, clean and well managed. The location is absolutely perfect. It is an excellent base for sightseeing. The breakfast we received each morning was fresh and tasty. Our host was friendly and very approachable. This was the first time we have stayed in a B&B. We had no... More

Visited Rome in December, lovely weather and a brilliant B&B to stay in, the owner had excellent communication from booking to meeting us on arrival and taking us to our room, it was clean and comfortable with entry of room for the three friends in our party. We had a little kitchenette which while not brilliantly stocked was enough for... More

Absolutely loved it here...we were met when we arrived and as there were three of us in one room we were shown where the main b&b was for our breakfast then escorted round the corner to our apartment...it was clean and comfortable and perfect as a base for sightseeing and we were very pleased for what we paid for it...the... We stayed here for three nights over Thanksgiving weekend. The location is ideal, one block away from the Colosseum. We took a taxi from Termini, 10 euros and less than 10 minutes drive. Fabrizio met us right on time and showed us to our room which was a few buildings down from the main location. It was the cutest little... More

Fabrizio was absolutely lovely as was Sancarlo and i cannot praise either enough. The B&B was in a brilliant location as its so close to the colesium and other major tourist attractions. Its also close to tram/ Metro & bus stops. The block of apartments which is advertised and shown on the pictures on the website (i booked through booking.com)... More

I let the owner know when our plane would be in and that we would be taking the train/metro so would call when we got there. We called the number on the website but unable to get through. We asked at the restaurant next door and they said you don't use the first two numbers when calling. The owner was... More

My friend and I arrived Rome at 6:00 am but was told "Not to call me(Fabrizio, the owner) before 10:00 am because my kids are still sleeping" what kind of the owner he is? We had a breakfast and bought sim card at Roma Termini just to kill the time and arrived somewhere near his apartment around 10:00. Had no... More

My Dear Madam, You ask me what kind of owner I'm. Well,i'm a "owner " or better "a father "that does't awake his sons at six o'clock in the morning, just only becouse a client is arriving at the airport at this time. Besides my B&B has its own timetables that must be respected and we are at every client's disposal.And... More

The location of the apartment we stayed in was perfect. We were blocks from the Colosseum, but we were also in a neat neighborhood. The room had everything we needed. The owner, Fabrizio, is one of those people you will always remember. He was kind, helpful and charming. The only negative to this property, is having to call the owner... More

We booked to stay at Santi Quattro in August for 3 nights. On arrival at the property, which is not far from the tube and very close to the colosseum, we rang the owner, Fabrizio, as instructed. He arrived within 5 minutes. Fabrizio explained that he had a room at another building for us as he felt it would be... More

I strongly recommend it, as this is perfect value for your money! Next time in Rome - I'll definitely choose it again! The place is very clean, linen and towels changed regularly. Excellent, very comfortable beds! Very nice bathroom - we had one private but outside of the room, no problem at all. Wifi perfect. Maps of Rome available in... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
