I stayed here one week with three friends. When travelling with friend or family it is very nice to have whole flat in use. But if alone I wouldn't choose this place because it would be little uncomfortable share a flat with totally stranger. Flat is situated at good place. Lots of restaurants and shops around! Unfortunately wifi worked very... More

Anna was excellent at making sure we had what we needed. We stayed 4 nights and it was a nice change to have all the comforts of home. We travelled as a group of four and Anna was thoughtful enough to keep is all together in one apartment. The apartment is cleaned everyday- beds are made and the dishes are... More

Casa Linnea provides outstanding value-for-dollar accommodation in a central area of Rome which is within easy walking distance of Vatican City. The hotel is very close to bus stops and the subway (Lepanto) which makes touring Rome's greatest attractions quite simple. The hotel is in a safe and quiet Roman neighborhood featuring some good restaurants, gelaterias, stores, and shops. What... More

This hotel is really a bed and breakfast- they only have 3 rooms they rent and they all share a common eating area. It is not a typical place to stay - no signage - you are actually in a building on the first floor. They have an elevator which is great. After we were checked in we never saw... More

Casa Linnea February 12, 2014 My daughter and I stayed at Casa Linnea Bed and Breakfast for 3 days. We were met by Anna, a wonderful host. We found the accommodation very warm and welcoming. The overall cleanliness was very good. It is a self serve breakfast and Anna left fresh croissants out every morning along with milk, cereal, coffee,... More

We had a little trouble finding it, as street numbering not great, but once we did Anna gave us a very warm welcome. The room was compact as we expected, but very functional as was the bathroom. The shared kitchen works well and was set up with all you need for a basic breakfast or small meal. Anna provided fresh... More

Anna was extremely helpful and welcoming. The apartment was very clean and was a nice change from a standard hotel to end our 2 week trip. It was nice to have a kitchen and a fridge. I definitely recommend, especially if you need 2 rooms as you can rent the entire apartment. The location was great, close to restaurants, shopping,... More

This is the perfect place if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet stay within walking distance of most sites. Room and bathroom (shower) a good size. Shared a kitchen with another guest - not an issue. Owner brought fresh, hot croissants every morning at 7 - also bread, cereal available. It is located in a residential area so... More

If you are looking for a place that is more of a hotel with a lot of services, then look at a different place to stay. If you want simple accommodations at a reasonable price in Rome, a very desirable location, then keep reading. Casa Linnea is in Prati, just east of the Vatican. It is a simple walk to... More

I don't have a single complaint to make about this absolutely wonderful B&B, in spite of some of the other reviews. It was the perfect beginning to an amazing holiday, and we had a far more pleasant, enjoyable and much better serviced experience in this 3* B&B than we did in the 4* Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal in... Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
