Stayed at Chez Diana for 7 nights. Our first trip to Rome. Diana was warm, friendly and very helpful. As others have written, the location is great, close to the Vatican and Metro. Diana was there every morning at 8 with fresh croissants, bread, proscuitto, and coffee. She is fluent in English and more than helpful for directions to attractions.... More

Very short walk from subway and busline the trolly line is also 6 min. walk - so moving around Rome is easy. the location is close to the vatican but for us the resturants via andrea doria 5 to 10 minute walk were a plus Nuraghe Sardo and Pizzeria forno a leona were just two. Diana was just as friendly... More

Pros: Place was walking distance to Vatican (10 minute walk) and to the metro (10 minute walk). It was quiet, Diana was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was filling. She served us with fresh Coffee, Croissant, another italian bread (probably ciabatta), some cold cuts, butter and cheese. It has a stove, coffee maker and a microwave. It has also wifi. There... We stayed 4 nights at Chez Diana at the 1st of this month; and could have not possibly had a more pleasant stay! Our plane was late & we had phone troubles; arriving almost 2 hours later than expected; but Diana was never-the-less very warm and receptive when we did arrive. The area is great and very convenient to the... More

First of all sorry Diana that we are writing this review so late. But our stay here was excellent. From beginning to end. It started by Diana answering all my questions by email in a timely manner. As this was our first time to Rome we didn't know what to expect. She asked how we were going to get to... More

Rome is spectacular but expensive. We did a lot of research before and after we got to Rome on where to stay. Chez Diana is so close to the Vatican we walked there in 5 minutes. The Metro subway is 2 blocks a way, costs 1 euro to take and you can get to all the other major sites with... More

The Good: * The location (right behind the Vatican). * The breakfast (Fresh croissant's and other breads, with banana's, yogurt, tea/coffee). * Air conditioning. * The hosts (Diana and her whole family were very kind). * Privacy. This is an apartment, they own/rent, in a complex that people actually live in. You are all alone there, Diana and the family... More

We had four nights here. Great apartment with only two rooms. You have a small fridge in the room so you can be really self sufficient. After a busy day of sight seeing we would come 'home' with treats from local shop - buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes - whip ourselves up a nice light meal and relax with a glass... More

Really, I have nothing too negative to say, I just don't think it was quite as amazing as some of the other reviewers have made it out to be. We stayed here for 4 nights in early May, and we only saw Diana for about 5 minutes in that time, so our host for the bulk of the time was... More

My partner and i stayed for 8 days with Diana's B&B. Wonderful room which is kept clean everyday . It is away from the hassle and noise of city center yet just minutes away from the metro which get you anywhere quite convenietly. For places of interests like Campo de fiori , Piaza Novona which are not near metro stations... More
