Maikol is a lovely quite place in not-so-nice neighborhood. Yet it is close to Termini and the Metro which is a great thing. I agree with all the positive comments that i've read. The only thing I'd add is make sure you check out the MAS store that is next door to the hotel main entrance. The store (which is on several floors) has everything you'll need for a stay in Rome and at very cheap prices. San Lorenzo is about 10minutes walk... more
