me and my boyfriend were very satisfied with Maikol accommodation. Very nice and helpful staff, clean and spacious room. quite place, close to the centre and a great price. We can recommend this place!!!! definitely! By the way, breakfast, which was brought to our room, was a very nice surprise! Thank you Maikol L + M ( Czech Rep) more

We stayed at Hotel Maikol for one night. We picked this B&B b/c of its close proximity to Termini train station and the price was right. Come to find out it was not as easy to get to as we thought after having to cross busy intersections and drag our suitcases on cobblestone sidewalks in the rain. If you plan... more

We stayed here to be close to Termini before an early flight. It was a pleasant surprise. We had a bit of trouble finding it at first but if you just go to the Victorio Emmanuelle piazza, it's on the square and actually easy to locate. It's one minute from a metro stop (Red line). The reception was so friendly.... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Maikol. The room was a good size and overlooked the park across the street. The service was top-notch and friendly. The room service breakfast made for a nice start to the day, and it was a very nice breakfast. Betty, the owner, was very friendly and helpful in suggesting where to go and how... more

A very clean hotel with a lovely breakfast on the bed to a great price (for being Rome)! The rooms could be charmier and more quite, but still great value for money. To me even the location in a little bit shabby Esquiline hill was great since it made us leave the tourist crowds in Centro Storico and Trastevere and... more

We were only staying one night in Rome and found this close to Termini and good access to the Metro. It was a bit hard to find as we were looking for the doors on the wrong part of the square, but did find it. We were early but were able to use the facilities and get changed and leave... more

I went to Rome with a few friends during August this year for 5 days and stayed in Hotel Maikol, have to admit at first sight I thought oh no what have we let ourselves in for. ..how wrong I was!! Granted it doesnt look like much from outside just your basic roman wooden doors, once you get in to the... more

Maikol is a lovely quite place in not-so-nice neighborhood. Yet it is close to Termini and the Metro which is a great thing. At the hotel you feel very safe as you get 4 keys to open your way from the main entrance up to your room. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is rather cheap compare to... more

Maikol was a great! We arrived late at night and found the hotel with no really problems. It is located exactly as everyone said: through the big wood doors, then through the door on the right and up to the second (American third) floor. First the location was perfect for getting around. It is in walking distance to the Coliseum... more
