The guesthouse is located near the Vatican Museum and St. Peter Basilica, and the Metro station is about tthree blocks away. The neighborhood is in a quiet area not frequented too much by cars or buses but restaurants and some shops are nearby. The Stanza Rosa room where i stayed was clean, well-kept and it reflected a hint of European... More

We have been at Paolo's CuscinoeCappuccino 3 times over the past several years, and we keep coming back because Paolo always offer what we are looking for; great host that attentively listens and talks to you, very clean rooms that he has kept improving over the years (all the bathrooms have been modernized), and an excelent location close to the... I highly reccomend this accommodation. It's impresively clean and comfortable and in a very safe area next to the Vatican wall. The owner, Paolo, is a lovely man who helps you get the most from your trip to Rome. He provided information, recommendations and a map which we found very useful. He also arranged transport for us to and from... More

If you're trip to Rome is more for the Vatican than for Ancient Rome, then you've found the perfect lodging. First, the location is literally steps from the Vatican, equipped with AC, a big (for Italy) shower, and a decent breakfast. Second, Paolo is an excellent host. He takes the time to explain the neighborhood to you upon arrival and... More

B&B Cuscino & Cappuccino is a real gem of a place just a few hundred metres from the Vatican. The accommodation is very comfortable and spotlessly clean and our room on the inside of the building was nice and quiet. The start of the show though has to be Paolo. Very relaxed and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for... More

My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights at Cuscino e Cappuccino and had a great time. Paolo is very helpful and arranged for a car to pick us up from the airport which was wonderful since we were tired from a long day of traveling. We stayed in the Stanza Blu which was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Breakfast... More

My wife and I stayed in this B&B back in September 2013. We spent 2 nights to visit Rome since we have visited Rome before. The B&B is very clean, beds are comfortable, and breakfast is simple but good. The location is perfect near the Vatican City (you can see the Vatican City from the B&B main door) and less... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Cuscino e Cappuccino. We travelled with 2 other couples and occupied all 3 rooms. The accommodations were comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was nice and simple. The location is excellent... literally a 5 minute walk to St. Peter Square. We walked to most of the city sites then took the metro back to the... More

Unbeatable location, close to the Vatican and within walking distance to most of the major sites in the city, Paolo was very helpful, gave us great advice of where to go and where to eat. I look forward to being there again.

We stayed at Cuscino e Cappuccino for a four day trip in Rome, and we're sure we couldn't have chosen a better place. The B&B is very near from the Vatican Museums and Saint Peter Square, in an old building. The room was very nice, spacious and very clean. Paolo was a perfect host, just after we arrived he told... Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
