Only spent one night at this apartment and were very surprised at the size of the apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Also very helpful in providing dining recommendations and where to get the best gelato in Italy.

We had a night at the family apartment. The rooms are quite good but it was really dirty you can't walk barefooted. The apartment wasn't prepared when we arrived and there were towels and blankets missing which we didn't get later either. Not recommended at all because of the dirtiness....

Our stay in Rome at Anthony's B&B was fantastic. Great location near Termini Train Station. Very clean and well kept apartment. Perfect for our family of five. Anthony provided a number of great recommendations for dining! In particular, the gelato at Gelatoria La Romana was the best we had in Italy! Highly recommend this B&B!

My wife and I were made very welcome during our 4 night stay. Our room was comfortable and neat with good en suite bath/shower room. Very pleasantly run establishment. Termini station is only a short walk away.

Stayed for four nights at the B and B. We were welcomed by a friendly lady who spoke little English. We were given a very spacious family room; when we were saw the size of the others we realized how large our room was. Bed was comfortable and linen clean and there was a useful mini fridge but no tea-... More

We stayed on their 3 bedrooms apartment for 3 nights. The apartment was big, clean and modern. The kitchen has complete kitchen utilities and utensils. It is very close to the supermarket and not too far walking to Termini.

After finding the location we found out it was not actually where we were staying but the office. We then had to follow a helpful staff member to the apartment a couple of blocks away. The apartment was well sized but when they realised there was only 4 of us they locked the '3rd room we had paid for in... More

Me and 4 friends recently came to Rome for 4 days for the six nations game. Anthony was extremely helpful communicating with me prior to our stay and booking a transfer. On arrival we were told we had a room across the street from where I originally searched for the property, this room was in via curtatone. I'd recommend this... More

For a girl that thrives off of finding great quality at cheap prices Anthony's B&B is ideal. It's conveniently located no more than 10 minutes from Termini Station, Rome's biggest transport center. It's surrounded by many embassies, including the US, Germany, Canada. Mamma Angela's and The Yellow, just across the street, are two restaurants that I came to love, one... More

Perfect place to stay in Rome. The owner Tony provided great customer service and very knowledgeable of Rome, so that's a plus. You're also close to the termini and can walk pretty much any where. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good too!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
