You really can't do better for location in Rome; you will see the Colosseum from the bedroom window. Finding the place is a bit tricky, it's not a Hotel, it's an apartment in a big orange building. You have to park in a public car park a couple of streets away and walk the rest, but it's easier to get... More

We had a brilliant time here, the view was amazing with a panoramic view of the Colosseum. Room was all you need (we only slept in it as all day and night was spent exploring a wonderful city), comfy bed, spacious room with nice bathroom. came with fridge, kettle and safe. breakfast was all you needed to start the day.... First off, this place is ideally located for a stay in Rome! We stayed here in mid-September 2015 for our first stay and couldn't have been happier. No need for a car as we walked everywhere (including back from the Vatican) The view from the "egg room" can't be beat (as you can see from my picture). I was not... More

I reserved at No 9 Colosseo in June for a August trip. 48 hours out I emailed to verify and found out we were reserved in another building a mile and half away. Upset, the whole reason for booking here was to be next to the Forum and Colosseum. Management offered to put us in the building next to the... More

Our suite had a view of the Colosseum just 300 yards away! Was very clean and quiet. Great location! Walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and shopping! Definitely recommend to those headed to Rome!

Being our first trip to Rome we had the best experience one could ask for, when we first arrived we were met by Milena to show us our room, and it was awesome, she went over and beyond to make sure are visit was memorable and it was. Our view of the coliseum was unbelievable and being within walking distance... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend in August for 3 nights and absolutely loved the place. I can't believe this only has 40 reviews and not all Excellent. This should be much more popular!! I couldn't believe the place when we first saw it on Trip Advisor and had to book it. As soon as we did book the Egg... More

I stayed at the property July 2015. I must say that the location can't be beat. Not only does this property offer great views it is located within a 5 minute walk to the metro, as well as a taxi stand right out front door. Service: This property is more like a bed and breakfast and is not staffed 24... More

Me and my fiancé stayed in in July 2015 and had the most amazing time! Accommodation - we were so excited to get to the apartment as the previous pictures we had seen looked amazing, but they are nothing compared to the real life view you get from the egg room!! It's a lovely light room, everything you need included... More

On our (myself, husband, and our 2 daughters, ages 12 and 9) 2-week trip to Italy, our arrival day was in Rome. We stayed at No.9 Colosseo for just one night before heading out the next morning for the rest of our trip (which ended back in Rome for another 3 nights.) Anyway! This was the perfect spot for our... More

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
