My fiancée and I needed a break from our daily routine and decided to spend a few nights in Rome. After looking at many hotels we chose Inn Spagna and we feel that we made an excellent choice. As always, when going hto a new hotel one fears the worst, however this was soon alleviated as we met the front... More

We stayed there for 3 nights and had a very good experience. This annex of the Inn Spagna is located in a private building just on Via Frattina, in a flat on the 4th floor, with only 5 rooms. Our room was at the back so very quiet, the only thing is that sound isolation with the room next to... More

We had a great 6 night stay the room was large a 2 room suite with a large bed room and bathroom. My husband is 6'5" with a football player build and was able to use the shower. Max and Alessandro were perfect hosts answering all of our many questions. The location is perfect for all of the major sights... More

Stayed here for 5 nights in June and had a fantastic experience. Most of all it was the warm and helpful staff (thank you Alessandro, Massimo & Michaelangelo!!). I originally booked a room at the Inn Spagna Charming house and the staff recommended the annex building as we were traveling with my mom and didn't want to deal with stairs.... More

My two friends and I were in town to watch Roma over a long weekend and were accomodated superbly by the excellent and friendly staff. They were knowledgable regarding local information and attractions but also helped book our trip to the Vatican and our tickets for the match. The location was perfect for sightseeing, right next to the Spanish steps... More

A group of perhaps 5 apartments over what appears to be the owners residence, above a shop, location is the key here, and this location, is very, very good, within the posh streets, very near the Spanish steps, the metro, and the corso, which appears to be Main Street rome, so many things are walkable from here, Pleasant staff, a... My girl friend and me stayed at the guest house for 3 nights and enjoyed it. Our room was very spacious (given it's a VERY central location in Rome) and quite funky in the interior. Reception was friendly and very helpful. Biggest pro is location, close to Spagna and via Condotti, many nice sights in walking distance. It's pricey, but,... More

Stayed in August of 2013 with my wife and 2 boys in the luxury quad. Location is great for sightseeing and shopping. Apartment was standard and clean. A little noisy at night. The review would have been 3-4 stars but felt almost swindled on check out. I had prepaid for the room and was charged for it the day I... More

This place was recommended to us by the friend of ours in Rome. We were skeptical at first - apartment style guest houses without concierge service is usually not our style. I'm so happy we listen to our friend. Location is simply the best - right by the Spanish steps, very close to everything, in the middle of the walking... More

I was supposed to stay at the Inn Spagna and was given a room here, apparently one and the same. I was very impressed with the room I was given, spacious and clean. Excellent location and helpful staff. If visiting Rome again, I would return to the Guest House Frattina.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
