It was OK. When we arrived (at 11am) the conceirge was not very helpful. We asked when our room would be ready and without looking up he said, "after two". Gee, thanks. We were told to put our bags downstairs in a cleaning spot where they keep vaccuums? It was not locked or secure - it didn't even have a... more

We arrived quite late at night and were a bit taken aback by the dark street and the graffiti everywhere. Once inside though we were much happier. The rooms are very very small, but everything in rooms and ensuite was perfectly clean. One of the cleanist rooms I have ever been in. One guy at the desk (night duty) was... more

there is a terrific market across the street from the hotel to pick up cheeses, fruits and yogurt, etc . to keep in the room.....breakfast was the same each morning and we did stay six nights...........a must is the gelato store two blocks away, however, not on a Sunday night being the wait is over and hour it seemed to... more

Not sure how they got their 4 star raiting, but there is no way this hotel can be rated as 4 stars. The location is not too bad...walking distance to Colesium (about 10 min walking), close to Metro, but the rooms are VERY small (barely could fit in the shower). The guy at the front desk is not friendly...so the... more

Where to begin! This was the start of our honeymoon and we thought we would treat ourselves to one of the suites, which was not cheap. On arrival, there was no help with our luggage, we were on the second floor and would of taken the lift, but that hadn;t been finished being built yet. so instead it was up... more

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel, chosen mainly for its price and location. Its very small and not very noticable from the street. Although the rooms are quite small, everything is very nicely decorated and clean. It is about a 10 min walk to the Manzoni subway station and about 20 mins to the collesium. We didn't explore... more

The hotel is not fat from Rome Termini (central train station) and not far from subway, about 7 minutes to walk. - Extremely small rooms! I've nether seen such small rooms! I and my wife are thin but even for us at was hard to go from one side of bed to restroom. Probably it was about 40cm from each... more

We spent two nights in Rome at Hotel Roma and were thrilled with the experience. It's relatively close to the train station and at first glance after dark the neighborhood looked a bit rough. We were happy to find that despite our first impression we felt very safe walking after dark to a restaurant few blocks away. The metro line... more

My son and I spent 3 days in Rome at this hotel and found it to be exactly as advertised. We couldn't have been happier. They did a beautiful job remodeling and the rooms were modern and very nicely done. They offer an ample continental breakfast in the morning and the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. The... more
