We were there to celebrate my birthday. As this was a special occasion, we devoted quite a big amount of time to choose our place to stay. We had a problem with our bathroom, and despite during the weekend it is difficult to find maintenance personnel, they did their best to solve the problem, and they offered us free breakfast... There is no other place to stay in Rome. Beautiful rooms and excellent service. Close to the Spanish Steps ans all major fashion brands. We loved every minute of our stay. The bathroom in room 5 is spectacular. A real hidden gem in the heart of Rome.

My husband and I stayed at Margutta 54 in late September. A bit pricey, but worth every penny! We stayed in suite 6. Ample closet and drawer space. Wonderful king size bed. A small kitchenette great for bringing things in and snacking at night. A small sofa and chair for a relaxing read and a delux bath! The tub was... More

My first time in Rome and my first time in Europe! We spent four nights here from April 12th-16th in the Margutta Suite with four people. My parents had the king bed and my brother and I each had a twin bed set up in the living area. I remember at night, still, how comfortable I was, the bed was... More

We spent a weekend in this very nice apartment/hotel, the entrance to our room is from a backyard/parking lot full of cars, surrounded by very nice buildings, but it takes some getting used to that cars are parked outside your room... The room and bathroom is very nice which it also should be for 430 Euro per night, but, there... More

We stayed here with our then 17 year old son, who is over 6 foot tall. Its always a concern that he will fit into an extra bed as they can be rather small sometimes but we needn't have worried. The extra bed was very generous and comfortable, and there was plenty of space for the three of us plus... More

We first stayed here 2 years ago on a break as a couple and had a wonderful time. We took the upstairs suite which is so spacious and tranquil - such a rare find in Rome. Highly recommended for honeymooners!! Situated in a quiet side street near all the main attractions. From the outside it has traditional charm and the inside rooms are simply amazing. Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
