Okay, I have a problem, I'll admit it - I love Rome. Part of that love story is that I get to stay at Suites Trastevere and pretend I'm a resident of Trastevere. As a long time customer, I have a keen eye for how the B&B is holding up and it's as fresh as the first year it opened.... More

This Bed and Breakfast is quaint, incredibly clean, and comfortable. The rooms are decorated tastefully and are spacious. It is set in a quieter area of the very popular Trastevere, but still on the major bus and tram line. The elevator is quirky and older than my grandfather. I loved it! The breakfast has fresh fruit and Italian pastries. (the Cream... More

Agree totally with previous reviewers. Clean comfortable rooms in an apartment block. Excellent service from Marco and Helena. As a family group using several rooms we could meet in the kitchen for drinks and snacks. Mobile phones also useful. Trams not working when we were there so very crowded buses. We arrived by train into Trastevere station it is only... More

I couldn't have asked for a nicer accommodation in Rome. The owner, Marco, was extremely friendly and made sure that you felt at home. Helena was also a joy to chat with and was always smiling. The rooms were extremely comfortable and beautifully designed. The B&B was very centrally located and it was a breeze to get to all that... More

Absolutely lovely B&B, truly charming and accommodating hosts. Owner Marco couldn’t have been more helpful, saying to feel free to call him anytime… even if we had questions after we left Rome for other parts of Italy! He put such creativity into the B&B with original paintings on the walls in our room. It was a lovely oasis and a... More

I stayed at Suites Trastevere for one weekend in July. The location is excellent (it takes just a few minutes to walk to the train station and there lots of wonderful restaurants nearby; even casual places likes the pizza place across the street was fantastic), the room is spacious, comfortable and clean (I stayed in the Trevi Fountain room which... I honestly chose this place for the location which is perfectly situated on the outskirts of Trastevere and only a short distance from the historic center. If anything else persuaded me on choosing Suites, it was the very reasonable prices, and that's it! Oh - and also my conversations with Marco prior to bookng & checking in, he was a... More

Having read the reviews before we left we were already confident this was a great find but as soon as we arrived, it really had made up our minds on the place. Helena greeted us upon arrival and explained how to get around the city, gave us a map etc and loads of really good information with restaurant recommendations and... More

Marco was extremely helpful but most will know this from the excellent reviews that Suites Trastevere gets so often. I highly recommend this place but the traveler should be informed that this is more like an apartment than a traditional bed and breakfast in the states. When in Rome, this is an outstanding bargain and once again, Marco is just... More

We recently stayed for three nights in this lovely and very convenient b&b. Marco and Helena were extremely helpful and Marco always replied to my emails promptly. This b & b is about 5 minutes walk from the Trastevere railway station, which is also on the direct line to the airport. About 2 minutes in the other direction is a... More
