We stayed only for 2 nights, but Marco and Helena really took care of our stay and help us get most of the Rome. Fantastic location, easy tram connections. Beautiful and cozy room. Lovely breakfast. The all paintings in the room and perfect location (great night life, many bars and restaurants) really give you the feeling of being in Rome.... More

Located very close to trastevere train station and major bus and tram lines, it is a very comfortable and cosy place where to stay. The owner and the staff are very competent and kind. All facilities available. If you look for a nice place in the marvellous Rome at a reasonable price, this is definitely the place for you

This was our second stay at Suites Trastevere and is still my favorite place to stay when in Rome. The convenience of the Tram is wonderful and allows you to go through the heart of Trastevere and into the center. It is also very close to Trastevere Train Station which makes getting to and from the port very easy. All the... More

On our first visit to Rome, my wife and I stayed here in the Trevi Fountain room for 6 days. From Marco graciously welcoming and introducing us to the city to Helena's efforts in preparing breakfast and helping us schedule tours and excursions, I can't imagine a better way to be introduced to Rome. We were given great advice from... More

How could u stay anywhere else? Words cannot express how amazingly wonderful this quaint BandB is-in terms of the location, the cleanliness, the fully stocked 24 hour kitchen, the beautiful artwork that adorns every inch of the bedrooms and of course the lovely Marco and Helena who put their heart and soul into the smooth running of this place. We... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Suites Trastevere at both the beginning and end of my month-long trip to Italy, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone. Owner Marco was warm, welcoming, accommodating, knowledgeable and hilarious. He gave me a good orientation of the city and how to get to the heart of Rome. Helena, who makes... More

We booked Suites Trastevere based on TA reviews and wasn't disappointed. From the initial booking to arrival, Marco answered every question. As previous reviewers have said for a City it's so well located, short distance from the railway station making transfer from the airport so easy. A two minute walk from tram 8 which gives quick and easy access the... More

My wife and I recently enjoyed several days in Rome and we can thoroughly recommend the B&B Suites. This is a fantastic place to stay - great local area, easy access by tram (frequent and low cost) to all the attractions of Rome, Trastevere station 200 metres away with trains to the airport, beautifully appointed rooms, lovely breakfasts and food/drinks... We were greeted with a warm welcome from Marco & Helena on arrival. They gave us very good advice regarding how to get from A to B. We were delighted to find that the tram was so close to the property and experienced the speediness of getting into the centre of Trastevere as well as the main highlights of Rome... More

Staying in Monteverde

Neighborhood Profile
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighborhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centerpiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the center to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
