First, a tip of the hat to Marco and Helena. You'll search far and wide to find more accommodating innkeepers. Whatever you want, they'll find it for you. They take hospitality to new levels. Next, the rooms. Artfully painted with Roman scenes. Impeccably appointed, and made up to perfection when you return from the day's outing. Breakfast is typically Roman,... More

We had a great stay at Suites Trastevere in March. The place is super clean, the rooms comfy and the decoration tasteful. But best of all is the welcome you receive. It's got all the comforts of a hotel plus a home feel thanks to Marco and his friendly staff. The only thing to keep in mind is that this... More

Words cannot express how well we were treated by Marco, Helena and the staff! This little hidden treasure of a B&B is in an older part of Trastevere, Rome on the 3rd floor with a quaint antique elevator for perfect access to the charming 5 suites and kitchen. Serves a delightful menu of breads, cheeses, meats, fiber rich Granola &... More

Marco and Helena make this B&B a delightful and low-stress base for enjoying Rome. This is a place I not only would willingly return to, but one I would look forward to staying in again. The location is ideal. Take the train from FCO to Trastevere station and walk five minutes. From the B&B's front door it's a three-minute walk... More

Marco's B&B is a great introduction to Rome. I was made welcome and offered breakfast when I arrived early morning after my long flight from Australia. My single room was agenerous size and spotless. The location is excellent - an easy train ride to Trastevere Station and then 5 minute walk; an easy tram ride to Piazza Venezia for most... More

We had a wonderful time with helpful staff and enjoyed our room (Colosseum). Helena and Marco would do anything for their guests. The suites have a really good location and it was easy to jump to nro 8 tram and to the railway station from where it is easy to take a train to the airport. The room was spacious... More

We loved this place. We were met by Marco who sat with us and gave us excellent tips about restaurants and cafes in the area, bus and tram routes, advice about sightseeing, etc. Our room was wonderful: clean, bright, comfortable bed, great shower. We were met in the mornings by Helena who served excellent coffee and breakfast. She also helped... More

Easy to get to from the airport and even though we didn't use the tram, it's right by the hotel to get into Central rome. Otherwise it's a 25 minute walk. Lovely friendly people who went out of their way, leaving our room to get changed in after we'd checked out and had a late flight home. Was a lovely... More

If you plan to stay in Rome you must check out Suites Trastevere. Between Marco and Helena they provided a clean, comfortable and reasonable stay. The breakfast was very good as well. Since my wife and I came in after hours they coordinated and easy transition. Their very familiar with the public transportation and have tips as well.

Stayed at ST in March 2015 over the weekend. It's great for couples. In terms of location if you are flying into Rome FCO then it's very easy (and cheap) to get the train there. Very convenient to get to Vatican City and all the other major attractions in Rome as well. The best bit however is the service; Marco... More
