The hotel is situated close enough to all the sights but not in the most crowded area of Rome. It has only six rooms, thus being not crowded itself. We had a really cool room looking at the front door of Santa Maria della Vittoria, a church containing the most beautiful sculpture by Bernini, Ecstasy of Saint Teresa.

Stayed for 4 nights in July 2013 and loved it. Great location, wonderful room and super staff. Stayed for 5 nights in July 2015 and the experience was very different, mostly due to promises that were made but not kept and very sloppy service. Booked online in April and immediately confirmed the reservation and accommodations via email with Jomar. Jomar... More

A great spot in the center of Rome. Luckily one apartment was still available and we snatched it up online. Once we found the place, the friendly staff greeted us in a big way. We transferred from a hotel by the Rime Airport to be closer to the attractions so we arrived rather early. But the staff accommodated us and... More

Our holiday was already brilliant but the stay at this hotel made it that much more amazing. The staff are very friendly and spoke English to us, the mini bar was free and was restocked everyday (wonderful when you return from a day of walking to water, juice, beer or crisps!), the breakfast was free and brought right to us... It is a small BB with large and adequate rooms. It is a bit hard to find the building since there is no signboard and most of the people around do not know the hotel. I was surprised since it is adjacent to the facinating moses fountain. The hotel is really cheap regarding the location and the facilities. Breakfest was... More

We travelled to Rome for a birthday trip. The hotel was in a great location and staff were very keen to ensure our stay was as good as possible. We loved our stay at the Moses Fountain Hotel and would definitely come back. There were some reviews saying the hotel was noisy due to the water pumps, but it caused... More

I booked this as a special place to stay for trip to Rome to celebrate partner's 50th birthday, and it certainly did the job. The bathroom was particularly good, with an amazing huge tiled bath as well as a rainhead shower. I hadn't realised there would also be a living area and kitchen - loads of space and all very... great Hotel, much like b&b, no reception but didn't make any difference, breakfast was great outside and they made breakfast more personal after the first day, great location near subway and a market and easy to get everywhere.

My boyfriend and I spent 6 nights here and the staff could not have been friendlier! The room was clean and large. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was great. The location is spot on....with in walking distance of so many things. We even walked to St. Peter's from the hotel on the first day. Breakfast in bed each... More

Fantastic hotel, my girlfriend and I stayed in the deluxe room which was amazing, had a free mini bar, Sky tv, shower/steam room. Pictures don't do it justice. Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
