Even though classified’s as a Hotel, the Moses fountain hotel is more a B&B than a hotel. There are 6 large nicely decorated rooms which are including Breakfast, Espresso machine in the room, free minibar and Wifi. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Hotel Location is very good and Easy to get to via taxi or Metro from Termini... More

We stayed here 18 months ago. (I checked that it was in Nov. of 2013, but it was before that.) The hotel is within walking distance of the train station. It is built into the back of a fountain that was at the end of one of the original Roman aqueducts--so cool! You enter through a "secret" door, which is... More

The Moses Fountain Hotel in Rome was the perfect start to my honeymoon. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, and we loved the hotel. We stayed in a beautiful room with it's own hammam, which was such a treat. There is wifi, and the location is great, with buses and the metro nearby. Rome is quite an easy... More

Moses fountain hotel is more a guesthouse than a hotel. You fell at home with only 6 rooms nicely decorated.Breakfast is good and can be taken in terrace. Expresso machine, free minibar and Wifi. Friendly staff. There is no lobby/reception desk. So be careful if you have to arrive outside the opening hours. You must get code to enter the... More

My boyfriend took me to the Moses Hotel on a surprise birthday trip in march 2014. The room was modern and perfectly clean. The breakfast brought to us in the morning was fantastic - plenty of lovely food (tea and coffee, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries and cakes) and it was a real treat to have breakfast in bed everyday.... Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights in August. My partner booked it as a surprise for my birthday and he could not of chosen a nicer hotel. There are quite a few steps to walk up to get to the rooms. Each room is decorated differently, we had the cream room. It was lovely and spacious, nice... More

My wife and I decided to book here after looking for a nice hotel at an affordable price. We were more than satisfied. The rooms was beautiful, and the terrace for breakfast was peaceful and scenic. The mini bar being restocked with beer and water every morning was a nice touch. Minutes from the Metro and Termini station. Bed was... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
