We would never have found this on our own. We had a cab driver who located it for us. There is no signage and just one large door. We received our keys with four locks to go through, and we never saw the owner or anyone except in the morning for breakfast. Not sure if we lost out key that... more

Stayed 4 nights in September--mainly because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. We truly enjoyed the Palazzo. A fabulous location in our favorite Roman neighborhood. Two bedrooms shared a lovely living room where a delicious breakfast was served. We paid $300 US a night and it did seem a little on the high end for what we got. Basically, as... more

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay in this inviting bed and breakfast. The accommodations were lovely, the food delightfully prepared and presented, and the hosts most welcoming, helpful, and personable. The atmosphere was a feeling of being a guest in a friend's home--very warm and special. We enjoyed the "sitting room" where we had our generous breakfasts in a... more

We had a fantastic stay at Palazzo del Duca. Paulo was helpful and the place is spotless. The location is close to everything and, for those pizza lovers, the "best pizza in Rome" (according to many who lined up each night) is right near by. For those who want to stay in a true Roman location this is the place. more

If you want a little history then you can't get better than the Palazzo del Duca. Still in the hands of its original owners, the Palazzo dates back five centuries and includes a huge ornate reception room where Popes and other dignatories were entertained by the family (minstrels) in the long distant past . The apartment we stayed in comprised... more

It couldn't have been better. I was traveling with my spouse and another couple, and we shared the floor to ourselves (two rooms, a living/dining area that was beautifully decorated and comfortable). A breakfast buffet was prepared each morning at 8:30, and it was delicious! The location is close to everything, and it is very clean. It felt like a... more

Palazzo del Duca is by far the most splendid hotel/B&B accommodation in Rome. The best part of it is its location. It's near Piazza Navona and in 20 minutes by foot we got to the Vatican. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Service was utterly superb. The staff were just perfect, hospitable and very accommodating. This is small and hiden B&B.... more

Great little B&B in the best location in Rome. Very friendly staff, who helped with special requests for breakfast and train or tour bookings. Rooms are lovely, beautifully decorated and the place was quiet. Breakfast is in the large living room and is pretty rich. Palazzo del Duca is romantic and antique. We stayed here 2 nights and wished it... more

Palazzo del duca is a splendid aristocratic residence with original frescoed halls overlooking Navona Square, in one of the most beautiful square of Italy. Large, clean and comfortable room. A great stay made nicer by the staff. more
