My wife and I sayed at the Almes in May and again in June 2014. We cannot say enough good things about the hotel and especially Sylvana!! She was so helpful, friendly, and a joy to talk to. Even though my Italian isn't the best we communicated well and she was very patient. It was my wife's first trip to... More

I stayed at the AlmesB&B Garden Apartment for 2 ½ weeks in July 2014 – it is a marvelous choice for a stay in Rome, and I highly recommend it. The GARDEN apt is something new for Almes, they just opened it, so it is updated, modern, well fitted out, very clean. The apartment is a small one bedroom apartment.... More

A short 10 minute walk to the Vatican, and it was nice to be away from all the tourists. Loved the coffee shop where we were given vouchers for coffee and croissants. They were very nice to us there and on our last day, they wouldn't let us pay for the extras the kids got. The lady who welcomed us... More

We stayed here for four days. Very nice place. The owner was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was, that we had to walk down the street to get breakfast, and the people at the coffee shop wasn't the friendliest. Not much on the menu. The room is very clean and quiet.

From the moment I got there to the moment I left I felt very welcome. It had that personal touch as it's a family business and were around when I need them. I had an amazing room which was Italian themed. It was in a fantastic location from the Vatican which was good. I will for sure recommend this to... More

We enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Our room was exactly as advertised, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was at a cafe just minutes away. Close to the Vatican, and not far from the metro line. We would definitely stay here again!

A most enjoyable weekend spent in Rome with family. The Almes B & B was just charming and perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood and in walking distance to the Vatican. We were so well looked after by the owner who advised us well on local restaurants. We would all definitely return and recommend on to friends.

The B&B looks exactly as it appears on the website, just charming. It's situated in a lovely residential neighborhood that is an easy walk to the Vatican. There's a supermarket at the end of the cul-de-sac and a few small restaurants nearby. The rooms are small, as to be expected in many European lodgings, but they were well-appointed. There were... From start to finish our stay at Almes B&B was great. Walking distance to the Metro and Vatican City. Quiet neighborhood but close to things you want to see. Air conditioning unit in the room was very nice ... free wifi too! Breakfast was at a cafe around the corner and the service there was very quick and friendly. Highly... More

Almes B&B in Rome had tasteful accommodations in walking distance to Vatican City. The rooms were decorated with landscapes of Italy and the fine linens were a heavenly touch for sleeping. Each bedroom had it own bathroom. A great location at a great price managed by a lovely family.
