I stayed at a single room which seems to be different from other 2 family room. There is no in-room kitchen although they claim it is an apartment. Upon enter, you see a desk (a reception desk where there is no one at all) and a 'sink' and a gas stove. NO MICROWAVE and no kitchen tools what so ever.... More

We rented the 2 larger apartments for 2 nights with 5 adults and 3 small children. Patrizia was professional and very helpful. The location is great and we really enjoyed venturing into the Monti district for great restaurants and wine. The apartments were clean but are of an older standard, particularly the bathrooms. We did not use the kitchens since... More

It was perfect right in the middle of EVERYTHING, clean, beautiful, you felt like you were in Rome not just some hotel room. Patrizia was very helpful and made sure we new where everything was. Will recommend to all my friends and will stay again

I stayed here in October for 3 nights and was truly delighted with it. It's in a superb location and Patrizia is a very helpful host. Free Wi-Fi with a good speed and coffee also provided. I would definitely stay here again.

This was very spacious and great for our family of 4 ( two kids 18 and 21) Patrizia met us and went over a map and all the sights to see and do. We kept our map the entire time and it was very handy. Most places were 15 minutes or so away and we walk pretty quickly. It was... More

This is a great place to stay, and close to many of the main sites: 5 mins walk to Trevi Fountain, 10 minutes to the Spanish Steps and 15 minutes to the Colosseum. Room was spotless and functional - use of a small kitchenette if required and access to iron and Espresso (FOC). Patrizia, the owner, is a lovely lady... More

First of all, finding the apartment building is easy by bus, which stops right outside the door and by following the instructions that the wonderful Patrizia will provide you with. Her hosting is fantastic with a great, helpful welcome and a run down of where to visit and how to get there, as well as anything else you need to... More

Patrizia was a great host for our too-short stay in Rome and her apartment is an excellent fit for those wanting a comfortable and convenient base in the heart of the old city. It's a ten-minute walk to both the Trevi Fountain in one direction and the Roman Forum (and Colosseum just beyond) in the other, and the surrounding neighborhood... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
