Sweet Alice is a fabulous place! I stayed twice, once for 6 nights and once for 1 night. It's a Bed and Breakfast, but it's basically like renting an apartment. You'll have your own room with strong A/C, a very clean little private bathroom, and there's an espresso maker and little kitchen that's shared outside the rooms. THere are only 4 rooms, and it takes up one side of a floor of an apartment building, so you really feel as if you have the place to yourself, and the price is VERY reasonable, especially for Rome, which I found exorbitant in general. I paid 35 euro a night for a single person. Roberto and Barbara aren't there all the time, but they stop in daily to check on things, and they have a cleaning staff come in every day around noon to take the sheets and clean.
