Difficult to find as it isn't easy signed outside the building. As the hotel is on the 4th floor if I can remember right of a building that has other hotels located within. Staff were charming and helpful. It is right next to Termini train station which was ideal for us who travelled via train from Milan. Tour buses start... More

If you're looking for something simple, clean and safe then this might be the place for you. It's affordable, the room is clean, it's quiet and the staff are very accommodating. It's a bit of a walk from the more 'central' areas of Rome but we love to walk and by you find a lot of little gems by making... More

We came upon this hotel by happenstance as we had just gotten off the bus and needed a place to stay. For the price it was exactly what we needed. Our room was very comfortable and the shower had "great water pressure' according to my husband who is very picky about his showers. If luxury is what you want you... More

The room is just ok, relatively clean, very cheap, modest. The bathroom is horrible, you wait at least 10 minutes to get warm water and take a shower. The breakfast.... Well, it is definitely not what you call a continental breakfast. Just a small coffee with a tiny jam roll. Not a good experience at all

Whilst lookig on the internet one night before due to arrive in Rome without a hotel booked, this hotel popped up! It Was good value for money for a family of 4 and close to the station, literally 150m! On arrival the entrance was grand and clean and the lift is brand new and very good! The older lady at... I found this hotel looking for cheap prices on this website and neglected to read the reviews. First of all, as stated by others, the hotel is on the fourth floor and the elevator does not work. It is very hard to find from the street with only one sign on the side of the building that contains it. I... More

I booked this hotel then to discover that the reviews were very poor when I researched it on line. I tried to change hotels with the company I booked, but could not due to high cost factors. I was travelling as a young alone lady, who was to meet up with Italian friends in Rome. At first I thought that... More

Don't stay here.I booked this hotel because it was near the train station.I know you get what you pay for.Small room was clean but breakfast was a joke, coffee -no tea and a couple of small packets of dry toast brought to your door about 7.30. My room was cleaned on my first morning and I felt safe because I had... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
