Great stay in a beautiful apartment! So many positive things to share about the Blue Hostel! None more important than the caring, personal service provided by Ercole, Alex and the rest of the staff! Followed closely by the location near the magnificent Santa Maria Maggiore Basillica and it's soothing bells! My sisters and I found the apartment we shared for... More

As my niece pointed out, "don't let the word hostel characterize The Blue Hostel." We (two couples) stayed in their Suite apartment, and it proved to be great place to stay. Ercole was a wonderful host, who gladly carried two of our bags up the stairs, and took a good bit of time going over their map of attractions and... More

Great stay at Blue hostel. Very convenient location, to the station, sights, etc. Room was very comfortable and clean and very quiet at night. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to others looking for a well located, reasonably priced hotel in rome.

Lovely place; charming, clean and stylish. Felt more like an apartment than a hostel. The only thing which would put us off staying again is the flights of stairs and the location. Although fairly centrally located, next time I would prefer to be in the thick of it, as we spent a fair amount on taxis and metro fares (when... More

I really liked Blue Hostel. The room had a large bathroom and was very clean. I didn't quite agree with some of the nominated choices for food on their personalised map, but Cafe Panella and Bar Giolitti for gelato were particularly good. It's really a great place to stay if you need to be close to the station (like I... More

We stayed in the Blue Hostel for 2 nights, however the experience made us want to stay for much longer. The hostel is in a central location with many restaurants and patisseries near by. the staff were very friendly and helpful, and as soon as we arrived, we were shown where the best places to eat and to visit were.... We decided to stay at the Blue Hostel in Rome because of the good online reviews, the reasonable price and the location. We were not disappointed. Walking distance from Termini station so easy to get there from the airport on the train. Large, clean, funky room. No reception desk but the friendly, helpful staff were readily available (remember to ring... More

We had a fantastic weekend in Rome, much thanks to Ercole, the owner of the hostel, who gave us amazing restaurant and sightseeing suggestions. We loved our room, beautiful, clean and cozy. Great location close to the Termini and within walking distance to many nice restaurants and places. I will most definitely come back to Rome soon and when I... More

Staying in Rome at the Blue Hostel run by Ercole was a great decision to make. The pictures of the rooms on the website of the hotel are very nice so up to arrival I was wondering whether the rooms would actually look the same and they did! Comfortable bed and spacious shower were great after long days of strolling... More
