This place is one of my favourite places to stay when I come through Roma. Nestled right off of Maria Maggiore, it's location to Termini is ideal and it's a perfect, quiet respite from the noise and pollution of the city. Ercole (the proprietor) is a lovely man who works hard to accommodate his guests, even going so far once... More

The Blue Hostel stay reaveled to be just the perfect choice for my 6 year old daughter and me. Extremely clean and tidy, we enjoyed so much walking from the hotel to many different locations in Rome. We could enjoy an extremely nice and tasteful decoration while feeling like living like another Roman family with stairs to climb - which... More

We took the apartment in the Blue Hostel and were absolutely delighted with it. Plenty of space, well appointed and beautifully situated. Plus the hosts were very friendly, and we followed just about every recommndation of their Top 20 places to eat in Rome without breaking the bank.

I visited Rome for a short break (4 nights) with my boyfriend back in June of this year. We were absolutely delighted to find that Blue Hostel was everything we'd hoped for. It had rustic charm with its traditional beamed ceilings and furniture along with a modern bathroom and a lovely host in Ercole, the owner, who was there to... More

Blue Hostel is a very nice hotel-like hostel offering nice and tastefully decorated rooms. We lived in the apartment and found it nice and quiet. The staff was friendly, helpful and English speaking. Only minus was that after a shower the floor in the bathroom was flooded because the drain couldn't handle the water.

We only had one night in the Blue Hostel, we wished it could have been longer. Ercole is a wonderful host, who laid on a superb light dinner for our late arrival, and the apartments were perfect for our needs. Central location, ideal for exploring the city. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed at the Blue Hostel for 5 days while in Rome. At first we were taken aback by the simplicity of the accommodations and the location, which despite being around the corner from Santa Maria Maggiore Basillica, is still not a very good neighborhood. It is 2 blocks away from the train station and going in the... My daughter and i spent 3 nights at the Bluehostel as a kick off to our two week Italy trip. We couldn't recommend it more highly. The staff was wonderful and welcoming, the aparment suite was absolutely lovely, the location was amazing, and we were thrilled with the view of the church. We would stay again in an instant if... We stayed at Blue Hostrl in Rome for the last stop of our trip, with only a very short stay in Rome, the staff helped us enjoy the most out of our time there, the service was kind, incredibly helpful and priceless to two exhausted girls on the last stop of a huge trip, would go back there again in... Great stay in a beautiful apartment! So many positive things to share about the Blue Hostel! None more important than the caring, personal service provided by Ercole, Alex and the rest of the staff! Followed closely by the location near the magnificent Santa Maria Maggiore Basillica and it's soothing bells! My sisters and I found the apartment we shared for... More
