The perfect place to stay in Rome. Right at the side of Roma Termini, the transportation hub from where you can very easily travel to and from anywhere. Marco is very pleasant and informed us on all possibilities of visit and gave us a few detailed hints on special pearls not to miss in this open-air museum. Absolutely value for... More

Marco, the owner, reached out to me before arrival to give us more information about arrival. I really appreciated this, as we were traveling a lot during our 2 week trip and it was rather hectic. Marco met us at Termini station and walked us to the guesthouse - which was fantastic. Termini has a lot of exits and if... More

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon. It is across the street from Termini, the Central Station and Marco is great. He met us at the House and showed us on a map the necessary hot spots to visit and how to get around. The Neighbourhood has many restaurants and grocery stores. Try dinner at Alfredo's. The Guest... Fantastic. For a short stay in rome it was perfect, stones throw from termini station and walking distance to all the sites. It was safe during day and night. Room was clean and Cosy. Marco was an excellent host, he provided us with maps, directions and tips for all the sites. He was always willing to help and was happy... More

We stayed here for 4 nights during our recent visit to Rome and it was great. Paula, the housekeeper is most helpful and really took care of us. The location can seem a little dodgy but as long as you are aware and careful, it's totally fine. It is in a very central location which makes it an easy point... More

This guest house is warm, friendly, safe and close at hand to Termine station. The staff went above and beyond their duty to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. Others may say that this location is too noisy or out of the way, but in essence this is untrue. If staying in any city locale there is noise, and this... More

My stay at Guest House Rome was a pleasant one. I planned to find a B&B that is in a walking distance to the termini station which allows us to get access to bus/metro/train easily. Guest House Rome is extremely close to the station and just opposite to one of the exit. Marco and Paula were very friendly and considerate,... More

We really enjoyed our stay in this guest house! Marco is such a nice guy who was waiting for us a fair bit as our train was delayed by 85 minutes and gave us a map and his advice what and when to see. Rooms were light and comfortable and were cleaned daily. Paula the housekeeper was also such a... More

First time in Rome, we stay for 4 nights in Guest House Rome and for sure we'll never come back there. we have no hot watter and no heating for 2 days..., we have shower with cold water. The room was horrible, it was dark and smelled bed, very noisy during the night; the towels were never changed in our... More

Good morning, 1 warm water is fully functional in the guest house, we had no problems. 2 the heating times in Rome are governed by the law of the municipality; In any case, we proceeded to warm up for a few hours on our own, as we always do during season changes. 3 towels are changed every three days, according... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
