It is the best location to stay in Rome and the price is also very good. In the area there are more locals and you can experience more the real Rome, the area is known for the best local food and I can say that this is true. Many restaurants nearby and markets, the metro is really close and you... More

A fantastic base to explore Rome, within walking distance of several ancient monuments and surrounded by excellent transport links, with Piramide metro station just 3min away, and a tram line and lots of bus routes 2min from the door. Very conveniently located near shops, supermarkets, alimentare and great restaurants. Comes with lots of useful appliances, like hairdryer, pots and pans,... More

Brilliant base to explore Rome, close to metro, buses, trams, taxis. Easy reach from airport. Clean rooms, crisp white bedding, loads of pillows. Quirky mixture of cutlery and crockery. Power shower. No toaster ... Never mind fresh bread from the supermarket around the corner and fabulous pizza place beneath. We loved it, great value and location

stayed here with 4 mates and it was perfect! the apartment was an awesome design with comfortable beds. it was right next to a fast food pizza and kebab store which came in handy as we're students. the metro station was a 2 minute walk away making transport easy. the only negative is the apartment doesn't have Wi-Fi, however that... Me and my family (7 persons) spent our Christmas holiday in this apartment. We spent here almost a week and it was really very nice experience. The location is perfectly convenient - the metro station Ostiense is just few steps away, and from there you can easily access any place in Rome you want. If you choose to walk, it's... More

We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights and I have to say it was great. Very close to the center (Piramide metro station) with direct links to both the main attractions and the airport Fiumicino. The apartment is nice and cozy and you can stay outside on a little terrace. It's recommended for families and group of friends (not... More

We very much enjoyed our visit to Rome and stay at this apartment. Although, small, extra space has been made with Mezzanine floors. The apartment was clean and well furnished, although the shower facilities would benefit from an update. The location is superb and we were able to walk to most places, and the metro and train station were only... More

This apartment is a great place for a base for a visit to Rome. The area behind the apartment called Testaccio has excellent restaurants. The apartment is clean and fine for a place to stay but I wouldn't want to be cooking in the kitchen, it's very small and a bit dated and the cupboard doors and fridge door in... More

We stay there for 3 nights with 2 adults and 1 child. The flat is very well organised and good furnished. The beds are good and the bathroom is good aswell. The flat is well located 2 mins by foot from Piramide station and not far from the main points to see.

I stayed in the appartment for almost a week. Friendly staff, good contact before arrival with detailed explanation how to get to the place etc. Very good costs to value, excellent location near the city centre, clean inside. Cons: aa bit noisy at night (old windows) and small bathroom. Otherwise all good.

Staying in Testaccio

Neighborhood Profile
Testaccio
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighborhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
