I was looking forward to this weekend in Rome, but was bitterly disappointed. When we turned up on Friday night the whole place was a building side. Unfortunatley the owner convinced us that there would be no builing on the weekend which was clearly a lie as it turned out the next morning. Work started on Saturday at 07:30 with hammering and drilling! The rooms themselves were very dirty (dust from the building works). Breakfast consisted of some slices of white bread and one (!) sort of jam. Drinks (coffee, orange juice) were ok. When we complained about the situation the owner threatened us with the police. I would defintely not recomment to visit this place! Apart from the building works the standards of rooms and breakfast seemed significantly below average. Jochen more
