Great location and excellent service! Kept out bags after we checked out until our train departure later that evening. Walking distance to main train station and ancient Roman sites.

My new husband and I stayed here for our first two nights in Italy before embarking on a cruise. After going through a bad air travel experience whereby we arrived in Rome 12 hours later than we were supposed to, we had just one and a half days to see Rome!
Arriving at the inn was very easy, we walked...

They don't have that much facilities and the breakfast is a bit on the small side. Nevertheless this is a great place. The rooms are really nice, the location is great and it's just damn cheap for wath they offer. I know were to go when next I'm in Rome.
My wife and I travelled to Rome in April and stayed at cesar balbo inn for one night. When we arrived we took per arranged transportation from Cesar balbo which was definitely worth it (we actually thought is was expensive but when you arrive in Rome there are so many people wanting to scam you for a ride that we...

Found good reviews for Cesare Balbo Inn from various travel sites- which all turned out to be pretty accurate. The Inn is really small- it seems to be one corner of a residential apartment complex. It only has about 4-5 rooms but it's clean, quiet, and cozy.
Their website had a great explanation from getting from the Roma Termini to...

Large hotels can be so impersonal. Here you are really made to feel at home by Glenn and Luca. Clean and comfortable, friendly and welcoming, excellent location and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
My partner and I stayed at Cesare Balbo Inn for 6 nights in January and we had a wonderful stay. With only 4 or 5 rooms it was very quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable, although a little dark. Service was great, Glenn was always willing to give helpful advice and make you cup of tea or coffee any...

This is the 2nd time i've stayed in Rome, this time i had the family with me as were taking part in the Rome Marathon & Fun Run. We booked a four person room at the Cesare Balbo Inn, as the reviews on Expedia and...

Just recently returned from a 7 night stay at the Cesare Balbo. Nothing but great praises and high remarks for this B+B. A terriffic location that cannot be beat. Walking distance to EVERYTHING. Extremely close to several of Rome's biggest tourist draws but far enough away from all the tourists to feel like a "Roman". The ownership/management really is the...

Just got back from Rome with 2 friends and would thoroughly recommend staying here. It is a 5 minute walk to the collosseum and we walked everywhere in the city. Breakfast was delivered every morning and Glenn could not do more for you. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and heating was good. I will definitely return back here if I...
