If you want VIP treatment, go to Rome 55. It is virtually on the Spanish steps, the center of Rome. The owners are their all day only meters away from the rooms, wanting to help their guests. We will certainly be going back again.

The rooms in this hotel were clean ( but a bit small for me) and the staff were kind , the location is perfect because it's near to Spanish steps and maybe that's why I personally enjoyed my stay because there are great Italian restaurants and designer boutiques around you. But the service could be better than that. It's bed... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute! The rooms were larger, modern, romantic and equipped. The location is perfect, right next to the Spanish steps and high end boutiques. We were welcomed by what felt like a little Italian family with long lost cousins arriving. Don't look any further, the perfect accommodation for your Rome stay.

A small boutique hotel in a fabulous location right near the Spanish Steps. The room size was adequate (not too small), the bathroom amenities were beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Although only on the second floor, we were not disturbed by any street noise. There is a small lift, so there is no need to lug suitcases up... More

This 4 room boutique hotel has clean, modern rooms and bathrooms. Its less than 1/2 block from the Spanish Steps and luxury shopping. You're surrounded by a great selection of restaurants and stores and are 15-20 minutes from many Roman sites. The owner Natasha is very informative and helpful. I stayed here with my husband in May this year and had a very good time. It is an apartment converted into a hotel. First day the room was very small and the A/C did not cool to my satisfaction but later we were transferred to the biggest room in the hotel and it was not a bad size. The... More

Very good district near the Spanish steps and the luxury shops. The staff are very kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is only one croissant per person. It is an classical bed and breakfast room without breakfast.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
