We stayed at Sole e Luna for 3 nights during our recent trip. Booked online based on the location and price, it was 90 euro/night including breakfast for a room with a bathroom (payment was by cash only). Our room was next to the reception, it was spacious and clean. Staff were smoking at the back room of the reception... More

This was our first experence in B&B (earlier we preferred hostels). I want to say, that this experince was very positive:) The room was big enough for two of us, bathroom was small but clean and cosy. Bads were very comfortable and big. The stuff was helpful and friendly. Location was ok - very close to Colliseum, metro stations (Mazoni... More

I stayed in Sole e Luna for three nights(21.08-24.08), and must say that this B&B was one of the best i stayed so far. Room was perfectly clean and spacious. I did share the bathroom but it was also perfectly clean.Yes the B&B is located on the 3 and 4th floor but there is a LIFT so I can't really... More

We stayed there for 1 day and were generally satisfied. We had a double bed with private bathroom. The room was clean and quite pleasant, though not spacious. The breakfast was served in the room but it was poor. It is situated in a convenient place in a central neighbourhood, near a metro station. Good for a sleep and some... More

My partner and I stayed at the Sole e Luna for 9 nights in May 2011. The hotel was easy to find, as all the numbers of the houses are clearly indicated on the via Meruluna. We were greeted on arrival and given useful advice on how to get to attractions and restaurants. The staff were always friendly throughout our... More

I booked to stay at Sole e Luna in 2010. Received confirmation by e-mail. Gave my Credit Card detils TO CONFIRM. Recevived confirmation. A day before arriving I called from Florence to confirm. They said they knew nothing about me. They were full and had no reservation for me. They offered to find alternative and e-mail me. Did not hear... More

This is not a hotel, this hole, which I suspect hiding Romanian illegals. 1. We pre-booked and paid for the room the first night. As a result, we were greeted by a sleepy person who could not understand who we are and what is coming. We do not expect anyone! " 2. Room is smaller than Venice - bed for... More

So many bad things about this place. Biggest issue was the service. We asked for help with our luggage because you have to take it up a flight of stairs before reaching a very small lift. They laughed at us and said "We don't help. You pay for what you get" (100 euros a night, btw). Then, in Italian, one... More

I enjoyed my stay here, but it would not be rated anything better than 'average.' If you want a hotel to sleep in, but nothing more, then this is a perfect hotel for you. However, it is very hard to find the hotel since it's on the fourth floor of a random building. It took a while to find the... More

We booked our room for 5 nights in Rome through the e-mail given on the internet site of the bed & breakfast. It is very easy to reach by bus from Termini Station (there are two buses that stop right across the street, it is a 7 minute way until the b&b), and 15 minutes walking from the Colosseo. The...
