Dated rooms but kept clean enough. We asked for a double bed but got 2 singles. Wifi worked good and rooms located close to train station and restruants. The staff didnt speak much english but we got by.

The Place it's very close to almost every major Attraction in Rome. The Room was fine, quiet, air conditioned. The wi-fi worked also very well. There were only two things that bothered us: the Room was not clean, and the breakfast was just a snack, that can't call breakfast.

This was a very good choice. A budget room for a budget price in a good location. Rooms and bathrooms tired, but we were out during the day. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly. The food was very good and the prices were also reasonable.

We stayed at Via firenze 47. It was quiet and safe. Location is spot on. Breakfast was toast and cappuccino. For extra, you get some eggs and bacon. Not very good though. 1 night stay is ok, more is just painful.

The location of the Flann O'brien Rooms was very good. You can reach everything by foot. Rooms are small, but cosy with their own bathroom. Breakfast at the pub downstairs was good. Service could be better both at the reception and the pub. All in all - good value for the money you are paying.

Nice location in center of Rome with 15-30min walking distance to main attractions. Rooms are clean but very tiny. Not much space in toilet as well and shower again is very small. Breakfast (free) standar is just toast, some sort of pie and ornage jucie and coffe. Anything else you have to pay but much less than ordinary price.

We spent 5 nights here. We had rooms in the annex just 5 min. from the pub and reception, it was very quiet. The hotel has a fine location 10 min walk to Termini and 15 min to Colloseum or Fontana di Trevi. The breakfast is served in the pub and it was nothing special but it will do. The... More

I loved my stay there! My room was the perfect size for me and spotlessly clean. The staff was delightful-always smiling and willing to help. Anna and Sari were exceptional as well as the restaurant staff-the food was great-cappuccinos' incredible. Perfecto!

Stayed on Via Nazionale. Very well located place near the historic center, very close to the Termini train station, bus and metro, Practical tasteful little room, and although service was OK, was disappointed with the size of the room, which was small, and the shower was even smaller.!! (And could do with a good scrub!) We paid E281.00 euro for... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
