We stayed here for 4 nights in October based on a recommendation. It is within walking distance of the the Termini station, but a taxi ride is cheap and easier. The room was basic, but clean and adequate for our needs. A basic continental breakfast was provided in our room every day. The staff was friendly and provided us with... More

This is now Salandra Roma Suite, same location, same owners. Great for the price, excellent location. We stayed there on July 12th 2014 Super location close to the termini in Rome. Very friendly staff and ready to help all the time. For the price it is perfect, don't expect too much. Room was small but very clean and everything works... More

I almost rated this hotel as very good, though the truth is closer to average by world standards and you should read of a range of reviews here -- excellent through terrible -- before you decide. Most reviews contain elements of truth, though some are exaggerated. First of all, hotels are very, very expensive in Rome. For the same money... More

We went to Rome on holiday for my birthday. We walked from the Termini Station which was not very far. We stayed at this charming B&B in the center of Rome. The proprietor and his employees were excellent and very helpful. Anything we asked for, we received graciously. Thanks very much for all you did to make our stay in... More

Just back from Rome on four day break. Staying at the Maria Luisa which is only approx l5 minutes from Termini Station for good connections to airport. Room basic and clean all thats needed to put head down after a full day sightseeing. Great value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful especially on places to visit and eat.

We arrived to Rome late Sunday and most B&B`s in Rome are inconvenient to access on arrival. Maria Luisa have 24/7 staff and we where warmely greeted. You can walk here from Termini station which have good connections with airports and all visiting places are easy to reach from here. Our room was small, as well as shower, but very... More

We spent 4 nights in the Maria Luisa during our City break in Roma, the staff were very helpful - info on tour bus, restaurants, places to visit etc – the accommodation was clean, easy to find, close to bus and train station. The rooms were not the biggest I’ve ever stayed in however some 4 star hotels in London... More

My husband and I stayed here in September 2012. These wonderful people make you feel like your right at home. Oh my goodness, from the time you come in the door you are greeted with a most welcoming smile and a lovely Bon gourno! you are asked what time you want to wake up and what you would like for... Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
