We reserved a room for Hotel Filippo, but when we got there, the manager took us a couple blocks away to their other hotel Roman sky. It was a half underground room, quite dark. But we were not looking for anything else but a place to stay for two nights to see some of Rome. And for this it was... More

We stayed at Hotel Sky for 4 nights. The room is not very spacious, but the security of the place is quite good. Considering I have read a lot of hotel break-ins happening in Rome, this hotel had 2 automatic security doors before you can enter the hotel. Even though it does not look like the conventional hotels we have... More

Just back from Rome after spending 4 nights at Hotel Filippo. Overall great location, very clean and comfortable. More like a small apartment. Once we checked out we had a full day in Rome and asked the owner if he would look after our luggage, he did so with out hesitation, we would definitely book this again.

This was overall a great hotel in a good location, just steps away from Termini Station. We were mostly interested in somewhere clean and comfortable to stay in that was close to Metro, and this was the perfect fit for us. Apart from accessing the Metro to get anywhere in Rome, we could easily walk to the main attractions, which... More

We spent two great nights in Rome at Hotel Sky (which is a partnering hotel of Hotel Filippo). The room, bed and shower were excellent and it was all that we needed. On top of that, we were provided with complimentary water bottles daily. Even though there is no reception at where we stayed, the hotel owner was just a... More

If i ever return to Rome I will be sure to stay here again. We arrived about lunch time and hotel filippo was about a 10 minute walk from the station, when we arrived the owner said that he would take us to an nearby hotel of his called hotel sky. This was about a 5 minute walk and on... More

Hotel Filippo is the perfect hotel for travelers on a budget of 50-90 euro per night. Conveniently located next door to metro and Line A, as well as within a 15 minute walk from the Coliseum and all of Rome's top tourist attractions, the hotel is just near enough to reach after a long day of walking and just far... We reached Rome almost after 11 in the night and to our surprise the owner or the staff said that the reservation was full in the building (address) that I had chosen on Booking.com and that we need to walk around 2 miles more to reach to another hotel in another building. I was shocked as this was misleading in... More

Stuff very friendly and rooms are good and clean! Price is reasonable and the location is perfect if you are in Rome for a short period of time and do not mind being close to the station. In fact being near the main station (Termini 8 mis walking) is not so bad considering the possibility to have subway and buses... More
